<DIV>Just a thought to help the mezzers... One of the most common way to accidently break mez is if the group triggers a HO with an AE effect.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't think it would be too unbalancing for AE HOs to not break mez.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If that is somehow too exploitable, then have AE HOs only break mez on the "target" of the HO spell, and not break mez on the rest of the group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its still leaves groups with strategy decisions of AE vs mezzing, but at least they dont have to be paranoid about HOs and loosing out on HO dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I still think that AOE HO's breaking mez is an oversight that needs to be fixed, I'm sure that every chanter will agree with me, as will most people in other classes. It is just stupid that 90% of aoe attacks are mez-friendly, but the HO that anyone can trigger isn't. Heh you're not the first person to point this out my friend <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The other fix we need(that other poeple have also pointed out) for mez is, landing a mez on a mob should erase any DOT spells on it. If you dot a mob by accident or the circumstances change to where you need to mez it, it's currently impossible to do anything but wait it out. That sucks.</DIV>

<DIV>Yeah the whole grouping with a conj thing is horrible right now. I was having a really tough time getting any mezzes in with their AoE dot's when i grouped with one last night, and god forbid you ask him to wait a few seconds before laying in with the AoE. People are never going to understand us because there just arn't enough of us. I have people say all the time at level 40. "Oh i'm not used to grouping with an enchanter." Maybe sony could just help us out and make the learning curve a little less harsh. I'm getting sick of having to school my group on enchanter grouping 101 for 10 mins every time I get a pick up group. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mez should not be broken by HO's this is most likely an oversight</DIV> <DIV>Mez should overright DoT's. No unbalance there...</DIV> <DIV>lvl 40 trait mez does not follow the rules of the spell it is sposed to upgrade (un-interuptible) this seems like an obvious oversight. Is this on our consolidated class issues thread yet? Don't think it is.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Myrid</DIV>

I dont think they are supposed to break mezz. Neither are alotta AOEs (or so I keep being told) its just bugs in the encounter system.
