<DIV>If it wasnt bad enough that we have to juggle 2 breezes, haste, dbl atk, manadrain, and mez all at the same time....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now people are actually using HOs all the time, which is nice and all, but our spells that trigger HOs are freakin NUKES and DOTS!?!!?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We need some of our buffs changed to the Lightning and Star HO icons so we dont have to stop what were doing find the mob people are attacking to fire off a 100 pt waste of time DD spell to complete HO chains.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is just yet another issue making Illusionists  UN-FUN !!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>there is no ballace issue involved by making us cast useless and unused spells to complete HOs.</DIV>

<DIV>Um... this has to be one of the silliest things i've ever heard. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First, when you buff you target a player not a mob. The vast majority of Hos that end in, or involve heals have targeted buff/heal effects on them. In short any buff based HO chain we'd do would have to end up being a buff ( probably a targeted one no less). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Does it really make sense for me to cast breeze and then have an arcane storm hit all the enemies? I mean at the most basic level it should be Damage dealign spells = damage dealign HOs. You want to trigger a Ho for 700+ dmg well you're gonna have to cast that DoT or Nuke ( or a stun) </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Furthermore is it really such a big deal? I buff more more than I have to. Regularly refreshing breezes and hastes when they have 45+ seconds left in their duration, and I still have time to do both my DoTs and 1-2 nukes during a fight. Granted it isn't always exactly convient to do a HO mid buff, but then again it isn't always convient to mez mid buff, but sometimes you have to.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also I'd contend it is a good thing breeze doesn't trigger HOs since if you're not nuking/DoTing you won't be trigger part of the starter chain = you won't have to do anything during the finished circle = You don't have anythign to worry about since they can do chains involving the other three archtypes. And if by some fluke a starter comes up that requires you to nuke, they can either cancel it and try a new starter or you have all day to decide if you want to trigger it or not.</DIV>

<DIV>HO's are an added bonus for groups that can handle their stuff. They shouldn't just fall out of the sky magically by you doing what you would normally be doing anywyas. I dont mind our current triggers for HO's, just wish they weren't all getting resisted 1/3 of the time since the patch. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Myrid</DIV>

<DIV>Only if you have the MA targeted. If you have the healer, or anyone other then the MA targeted that you're waiting to  re-breeze, you get the "can't cast detrimental spells on target" message. You retarget to the MA, cast, and go back to your group member rebuff queue position. Is it a big deal, no, just a further inconvenience due to the overly short chanter haste/breeze buff duration.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I keep an /assist macro hotkeyed at all times, specifically for these situations. Fortunately, we now have the 'implied target window' so we can see when our comrades are targetting the MA and never using /assist, so we can just assist them ourselves and fire off that nuke. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>Most people ive played with have the MT targeted, and more than likely if im not breeze / hasting someone im mezing something else besides the thing i want to waste my time casting my 100 dmg nuke on</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i dont think its alot to ask to either use the stupid staff and wand HO icons or make our buffs and mezes use the icons that are being used.</DIV>
