<DIV>Here is a helpful macro that I setup in my interface the other day. The macro is as follows and the first line can be slightly modified for other group members or yourself:<BR>/target_group_member 0<BR>/useability breeze<BR>/useability alacrity</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For some reason the macro doesn't seem to queue the 2nd spell right now (I've bugged it but you know how quickly those get resolved) so it has the wierd effect of clicking once will breeze the person, and clicking a second time (before breeze refreshes) casts haste on the person.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The target_group_member command can have a 0-4 for all of your group members, or you can use target_self to target yourself for these. From my experience /target_group_member 0 is like the F2 key, /target_group_member 1 is like F3 etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Currently, I created some UI mods (I don't mind sharing if anyone wants them) so that my group window is vertical and also includes me. I also setup a hotbar vertically, so the buttons line up exactly to a group member and the button right next to a name casts the buffs on that person. Its a whole lot easier than trying to target and cast on each group member individually.<BR></DIV> <DIV>Hope this helps someone,</DIV><p>Message Edited by MugnMobs on <span class=date_text>01-25-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:11 PM</span>

<DIV>while I personally wouldn't want to make 6 macros, nor would I want to change them everytime the group make up changed, I could see where some folks might find this useful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for myself I prefer to just target with the f1-6 keys and then cast my breeze spell. If the person is a melee I do have a macro to cast Haste and Intensity with one button. It does properly que up for me... Not sure why yours wouldn't. Only time I need to press it multiple times is I get a fizzile.</DIV>

<DIV>As far as the queuing thing goes it seems to be the /target_group_member or /target_self commands that mess it up. Before I switched to this setup, I just used one macro for breeze, and one macro for breeze/haste. The breeze/haste macro queued just fine and still does when I use it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On the bright side, once I created these 6 macros, because of the way the queuing is working I don't have to modify the macros each time the group changes. I just click one if the group member is a caster and twice if they are a melee :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>The real probelm with spell macros is/are the fizzle factor, I had t main macros: one had ego/dispel other had gloom/cerebral, it was nice to clean up my spell bars a bit but in practice, if one failed it suxed beans to have to hit that macro again and recast a the spell that did stick to have the fizzle one fire. in theory its a time save, in practice its a mana waster. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>as a "chanter" im for the most part non-stop casting somthing, I cant believe how many spells im casting these days, buffs-debuffs-dots and on top mezes lol. LOVE the action and such, dont get me wrong, my spell casting depends on the grouping and how they work the mobs. but all in all even at lev 26 the chanters life is non-stop casting, and to macro and pray for non-fizzles is like pig and elephant DNA.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>The other macro problem is that you can't see the recast timer of the spell that the macro casts. So you have to have the actual spell on your hotbar somewhere in order to see it. You can't really clean up your hotbar by doing this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And yes, Fizzling screws it up. </DIV>
