We are ILUSIONISTS - we should be the masters at what other classes can only hope to do - change our percieved forms into amazing things! Or perhaps bring forth the illusions of mobs to distract those we are attacking. Or have a group invis. After all, we are on the path to control their thoughts. Shouldn't we be able to charm a low level mob into being a pet? Yes, it would attack us once it breaks the charm, but that would be part of the finesse of the class. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>While I still enjoy the class I think that it is woefully underrepresented by the devs attentions. There are so many possiblities and yet they give us so few.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>No, I will not require any cheese as I am done with my wine. However, I have not taken to posting very much until now - I have been happy overall until getting to this level only to find there's not much here. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am done ranting, however, I would hope this would be read in the intention with which it was written - please focus some development attention on the Illusionist class.</DIV>

But still, there are more to illusions than just changing our appearance. We use illusions to control our enemies. Take a look at the chat box thenext time you cast entrance. </P> <P>as far as charms, those are entirely the coercers domain. we use illusions of stunningly bright lights and nightmarish visions to place our enemies under our control. the coercers are the ones that get to affect the thoughts and mind of the enemies. although i guess we could get an illusion that turns us into the creatures boss, and order him to do whatever <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> . actually that would be pretty neat... <DIV>I agree with stewieG, we were never told that we were masters of changing form. My only issue is that rather than calling them "Morphs" or something more appropriate, they called them "Illusions". The only reason to call them this would be if we did specialize in them (which would be a dumb specialization since they don't do anything). Our illusions are actually more useful. We distract mobs with our illusions and that is a wonderful thing to be able to do. We can effectively make an extremely difficult fight much easier with just a cast or two.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just wish they would rename all "Illusions" to "Morphs". Dumb mistake of theirs, in my opinion.</DIV>

<DIV>I feedback and bug report all the issues that bother me in game every couple days. Perhaps if you feel underrepresented you could /feedback and have someone hear your voice. Not that it will do any good but it won't hurt.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also illusionists do get group invis, which was somehting you mentioned in your wish list.</DIV>
<DIV>FYI I do beleive we get a group invis spell and while its only a bone (and a small one at that) we do get group illusion spells as well.</DIV>

<DIV>I didn't realize we got a group invis. Thanks! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And yes, I agree the Coercer would be more mind-control oriented.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sorry for the tone, but I just feel that as the class that is supposed to make illusions, we don't get to make many that aren't "combat" oriented.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks again for the input. :smileywink:</DIV>
