<DIV>1)  Generally, have you noticed a bump in DPS going from wizzy to warlock? <EM> I am well of the concept of warlocks being aoe damaged based while wizards single target(which is not true).  </EM></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) Are there spells that warlocks have that make you feel all warma nd fuzzy inside like ice nova and fusion?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3)  Is there anything you miss about being a wizzy?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>4)  One of the reasons I am considering making the switch is with a wizards ability to pump out dps with scout classes and summoners in grp situations; their dps is so strong I can not even get a hit off.  This video shows what I am talking about(yes that is me).    <A href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys71EpXnqTs" target=_blank>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys71EpXnqTs</A>   Notice the pattern..?  Target is not alive keeps coming up lol  Would warlocks be able to pump out good dps in group situations like these?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>5) Is the class dependent on AAs for DPs?  Also, how are the AAs for warlocks?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>6)  Overall, are you glad you made the switch?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by mcavellero on <span class=date_text>12-20-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:56 AM</span>

Im not actually a betraying Wiz...but ill answer you anyway <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><blockquote><hr>mcavellero wrote:<div></div> <div></div> <div>1)  Generally, have you noticed a bump in DPS going from wizzy to warlock? <em> I am well of the concept of warlocks being aoe damaged based while wizards single target(which is not true).  </em></div> <div> <font color="#ff0000">the fact is that Wizards will generally out DPS a warlock, as generally we face single mobs.  When the warlock FINALLY gets a chance to AOE, the DPS can become pretty insane.</font></div> <div> </div> <div>2) Are there spells that warlocks have that make you feel all warma nd fuzzy inside like ice nova and fusion?<font color="#ff0000">Oh yeah...Apocalypse is our signature spell, but we get plenty of heavy hitters...big issue, is aggro management tho...Im sure as a wizzy you are aware of this tho.</font></div> <div> </div> <div>3)  Is there anything you miss about being a wizzy?<font color="#ff0000">N/A</font></div> <div> </div> <div>4)  One of the reasons I am considering making the switch is with a wizards ability to pump out dps with scout classes and summoners in grp situations; their dps is so strong I can not even get a hit off.  This video shows what I am talking about(yes that is me).    <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys71EpXnqTs" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys71EpXnqTs</a>   Notice the pattern..?  Target is not alive keeps coming up lol  Would warlocks be able to pump out good dps in group situations like these?<font color="#ff0000">We used to get this an awful lot...until a few patches agowhen they changed it... Casting an encounter spell, on any member of the encounter will trigger on the encounter, even if your original target has died by the time the cast is complete.  Doesn't help on single target tho.</font></div> <div> </div> <div>5) Is the class dependent on AAs for DPs?  Also, how are the AAs for warlocks?<font color="#ff0000">The class isn't dependant upon DPS, but it does make a big difference.  We got dealt a big blow with EOF DPS AAs.  You wizzies get Manaburn, and Necros get Lifeburn...Warlocks get Aftershock...which is pretty lame tbh (See other threads on this forum for why).</font></div> <div> </div> <div>6)  Overall, are you glad you made the switch?<font color="#ff0000">N/A but I am glad I didn't go Wiz.  Warlocks feel like the ginger haired stepbro as far as developer attention goes, but there is nothing quite like the feeling of tearing through a whole encounter of mobs at practically the same speed you would a single target.  We are also relatively rare in comparison to Wizards, so it is sort of unique to be a Warlock.</font></div> <div> </div> <div>Thanks in advance</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <p><span class="time_text"></span> </p><p>Message Edited by mcavellero on <span class="date_text">12-20-2006</span> <span class="time_text">12:56 AM</span></p><hr></blockquote><div></div>
