Hello there,I think i just found that warlock will be my next alt (i have too many alts but no way to stay on one character only, lol), the whole concept of the class looked fine for me for a long time now, i always liked the spell graphics and AE is fun, but on paper, warlock spells never looked really interesting. But i decided to give it a try, and i have to admit i really like it for now. I quickly ran to the broker and spent the whole evening to harrass crafters so i can have my full mastercrafted set, and my little fae warlock is now lvl 22.I will probably level her a bit then make another character on another account to help her, so here i come, i don't really know what class would be the best to 2 box with a warlock.Things to now, first, i love utility spells and i can't imagine playing without them. So the more i will have, the better it will be, i already have teleports and invi with the warlock. I thought mana regen would be very nice too but for now i don't have any mana problems so maybe it's not that important. That said, here is the classes that came up in my mind:-troubador: speed, speed, speed :smileytongue: Evac as well is nice, and good buffs for a caster. The mezz looks interesting too and can be helpful when soloing nameds (which is my goal, not that i don't have any characters to do that already, but i like to be able to solo heroic quests). The main downside for me is that it doesn't have any rez, heal, and that the buffs are bard centric (especially speed) so if i run too far from the troubador i will lose them.-dirge: about the same as troubador, although most of the melee buffs are useless, the rez and transfer life both look very interesting. Stoneskin can help a lot too when pulling ae encounters, as well as the dirge's noxious debuff and spells.-fury: looks almost perfect. Big AE to help with damage, heals, rez, very good buffs, teleport too, root... But missing the evac and a good speed -illusionnist: amazing for soloing nameds and anything big, as well as having good buff and mana regens, and a pet if i need to pull something far... But lacking any spells like speed, evac,... So not very interesting at first.Well, i didn't add the warden to the list, mainly because i already have one lvl 70 :smileytongue: And the worst thing of that is that again, if i have to choose another class, warden would be my choice... speed, evac, teleport, and everything is no nice. But maybe it's time to try something else, so your advices will probably help me there :smileywink:I'm sure some of you played with these classes or have one themselves, and could give a better point of view on them. I know them quite well but the problem is, that i don't know much about warlock at higher levels. Although i have 2 lvl 70 i rarely saw any warlock (or at least to the point that i noticed their playstyle). I probably newer met a good warlock But back on topic, i hope you can help me with this dilemna (not sure of the word there), thanks in advance !

when i boxed for a period i had a conjuror that went with me, but that was just for convenience, and nothing else.conjuror makes it lil easier, but ive also tried troub, wich works also, its bit harder though.i just made 3 quick buttons for my conjuror, pet attack, dumbfire pets, and pet heal.
Message Edited by Grothargh on 12-20-2006 04:34 AM

Maybe a Paladin. You get a plate tank that can prob hold aggro (Helped by amends passive aggro transfer), and you also get some healing in there. If you are two boxing, then consider the fact that you will need to do a lot of clicking/pressing. Warlocks do have some spells with pretty long casting times, but a lot of our dmg comes from Dots which have relatively short casting times.Another option is Necro or Shadowknight. They both work with Posion/Disease which compliments your spells.

I just outlined how I three box in another thread: 3Box Warlock Setup

I chose a Mystic and a Warlock to two box with before I had my 3rd computer.
