Is this the DoT class of choice?

Yes, our two dots (three at lvl 52) that are single target stack with one another. As for the "dot" class, I think some other classes have more dots than we do. <div></div>

Necromancers have more dot's than warlocks do...the only "dots" that are long duration for us is the Shadows line, and even that isn't very long.  Apocalypse and War Pyre hardly count as dots, as they only last a few seconds.  <div></div>

broodlings are a counted as a DoT are they not? Our DoT's usually I would use on the shorter fights for the quick casts, not hard to keep them running all the time, very rarely would they be used solo for myself however, due to them trashing my roots and me getting yet another dent in my dress <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Even the short duration DoT's are useful, but aye mostly they're not the 30 sec duration ones, but they do their jobs <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> - tip though, avoid your broodlings in close quarters, they like to hump things then despawn as they reach the end of your timer and get you a little punch in the head <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Meh, back to browsing <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div><div>I personally like the short duration of War Pyre and Apocolypse, just those 2 alone make up 35% of my damage.. then throw in Chaostorm and your broodlings..
