I just got aftershock tonight and immediately afterwards I did Meeting of the Minds for AA xp. I was mentored down to lvl 57.Fight duration: 42 secondsTotal Aftershocks: 33Average Aftershock Proc: 309Total dmg: 10,214DPS: 243I will post more numbers from EoF raids this next week, but I am already impressed. It constituted about 10% of my total dps. Maybe KrAzE1 isnt using enough explosive spells in his rotation? Might just be that it was an aoe fight.Daenarys70 WarlockMob SquadKithicor

I would like to see what your getting in EOF raid zones when you get a chance, to compare results would be great.

One person shows about 5 dps increase overall for a raid night. Another shows 200 dps or so for one fight. Maybe we need a little more parsing.

So some of mine could have been higher like his and low ones brought the average down. Raid zones with more group mobs the better the average would be. More single encounters there are the lower they would be. This is from MM raid in EOF so if any other Warlocks hit this raid zone please share your info on Aftershock.

Type Damage DPS Average Min Hit Max Hit Resist Hits CritHits Swings To Hit %

Aftershocks 89982 7.52 514.18 116 821 magic 175 6 194 90.21

Message Edited by KrAzE1 on 11-28-2006 04:00 PM

I think the problem with zone parses is that most warlocks only use 1 out of 5 explosive spells on single mobs which screws with averages. I always cycle apocalypse, chaostorm, and absolution on singles. I will test extensively this next week. I take the LSAT this saturday... /stressDaenarys70 WarlockMob SquadKithicor

Im going down the hastenings line and the removal line. The reason im going down the hastenings line is to improve my single target dps ( dots tick faster, soul blister hits harder and refreshes faster aswell as void distortion) Im going down the Removal line just for the last skill which i think is great.

Maybe its just me but we really dont need more dmg in the aoe department.

Message Edited by Dyshar on 11-29-2006 07:32 AM

Hastening and Explosives for more DPS, after all we are a DPS class anything else would be a waste IMO.

I started with hastening and will move onto explosives later.. more single target DPS > more AOE DPS imo

The last line in removals looks nice but when testing in Beta it seemed very unreliable, use this on a mob like talendor(Who has highish resists anyway) and one resist at the wrong time will mean a wipe. Also all the ones before that ability are complete trash.

Brigands get one that is 30% reduction and I doubt ours would stack with theirs anyway, leave it to them I say

i personally would prefer to go hastenings and explosives also but i just cant afford to give up the AA improvements on the protection line and vacuous sounds very good as a final buff. The reason is, our raid group doesnt have a regular troubadour or a coercer for hate reductions buffs and so i need that extra help to avoid getting aggro even tho i spam concussive and vulian. I suppose i could swap to the int line on the first tree but i found the hate reduction effects of that were pretty crap tbh. The ones in the 2nd tree seem to work more effectively. Also, i like the added damage/crit the way i have it on the 1st tree (+38% damage every 50 secs on my next spell & 11.7 chance to crit with enough points left for +20 int buff. Now with explosives, thats going to be +48% damage every 50 secs on my next explosives spell and +18% base damage increase on the other explosives spells even without using FHS still with a 11.7 chance to crit (without items) and still with that +20 int buff.Havent got aftershock yet but looking forward to it, does it have any noticeable graphic effects or is it just added numbers?

Message Edited by Pilgrim Divine on 12-01-2006 07:33 AM

The graphic has rocks falling from the sky and shaking the screen. So far i haven't really noticed too much of a difference in dmg. The aftershock does around 500dmg each spell in the explosive line, would be better if it was on all our spells, so it could trigger off each hit of the apocalypse and then a trigger off each aftershock. Ill wait and see before i make judgement and i am not sure which line to go down next. Erathia 70th Warlock/Najena
