I was checking out our aa's, and wanted to go Protection and explotions, but Volatility in the end of Removals tree seems to be pretty handy for raiding, with reducing aa.Atm, my warlock isnt 70, so Im only raiding with my Fury, but our only other warlock in guild aslo playes healer, and is needed there (mystic), so was planning to raid a bit with my warlock when I get him to 70 (at 52 atm).Question is, will it be worth sacrificing Protection tree to get Volatility? Will it be THAT good in raiding for saving casters/healers from AE, or will it usually be resisted, mobs having too big AE for the effect to be worth it and so and so on. Anyone tried it in raids, or have any input?

I think that final ability is not worth it really to waste 15AAs, most of the mobs having raid-wide aoes, personally i'm going explosiveness and hastenings, seems the best dps setup coupled with my str/agi lines on my sorcerer tree. The estimated dps gain in average i've calculated from those trees compared to pre-eof is some 25-30% along with the int buffs and such.

My raid wants me to try out Volatility for some time...and from the discription it seems to be very handy aswell...A nice side-point is that our debuffs get a nice boost and curse of void get [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] usefull with 5 points in it...If Volatility doesnt proof to be that usefull, i will defenitely change to hastenings too, to get more dps...<div></div>

Certain raid mobs in KoS  required you to be at a certain distance  too close to far = death ..   soo ya  ....cast it  =death <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I think it was YOU that didn't look well dude, final ability volatility requires 15aa pts in Removals tree for the cost of one single AA, yes 1 not 8 as final ability on the sorcerer tree... Still amazes me how some people come and always try to put out some dipchit comment before looking more carefully.

This is will be a very situational spell and I have a feeling that it's use won't be in keeping us alive but rather the healers. For example the range of the Eye's AoE in DT (apparently I'm on DT Eyes kick tonight) is just shy of 25 meters. We're out of range with almost our full assortment of spells but the healers are stuck 5 meters further in so they can heal. 20% reduction would allow them to be out of range for the mob, but still in range to heal.
