IIRC they upped resist rates and got rid of fizzles. It seems to me that resist rates are way overboard now. Soloing has become a pain in the rump. I was using an adept III root and it got resisted 5 times in a row several times last night and 2-3 times many more times last night. Its becoming a pain to solo.

Id have to agree with the original poster,

The resist rates are much higher and all my skills are currently maxed out. This morning on a even con mob root failed 6 times.

Most of the time i cant get it to stick at all so I find myself just pouring on the dots to kill the mob before it kills me

Same. Only time i get resists on mobs lower than 71 are on items. Im at 407 self buffed disruption and like 405 subjugation. But they fixed the claymore reward so I have that 30 sec claymore energis buff on me most of the time. Puts me at like 476 and 474 dis and subj repsectively.I occasionally get resists on mobs in the lvl 73-74 range if I dont have a debuffer in my group.Daenarys70 WarlockMob Squad

Message Edited by Melseb on 11-21-2006 01:48 PM

Not sure its whining. I have a lower level caster level locked with all masters and maxxed skills. 5 resists in a row too. Debuff, forgetaboutit. The debuff resists and when it lands I still get up to 3 resists in a row.

What job is that? To throw debuffs that they dont have. I was grouped with a zerker and a warden.

It wasnt A mob it was A whole zone. Lots of the EoF content resists my casts. Its rare to find a mob that doesnt not the other way around.

I was playing my 51 warlock the other day in Permafrost in a group killing lvl 48-48 mobs. Blue heroics, basically. Every once in a while they would resist my nukes - which are all at master (well, one is at adept3). Not a lot, but enough to notice.

Resists are definitely screwy now, blue mobs have no business resisting masters, ever.

Patrix513 wrote:
/shrug i rarely if at all get resisted. only resists i get are damage proc's from gear.

And this is a TOTAL pain in the [Removed for Content]. I've considered dropping half my proc gear since more than 50% of my procs get resisted on raids.

i dont know that the actual resist rates are messed up. most often i fight with very few to almost no resists against my spells. it is on that rare occasion that almost all my spells resist. i think the problem comes from the randomizer just randomly not resisting, but then to make up for the lack throws them all at you at once. ive noticed randomizers in these types of games tend to have more identifyable trends, such as the resist trend. unless what ive experienced isnt what your talking about at all.
