<DIV>I have been reading over all of the god stuff and I am really drawing a blank on which god to pick for a warlock. None of them really seem to have anything great to offer me, so I thought I would post this and see if anyone else had any thoughts on which god to take.</DIV><p>Message Edited by shadowsting on <span class=date_text>11-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:43 AM</span>
<DIV>try quellious....they have a deaggro cape and some deaggro abilities you can gain...dunno much else about the good gods...or try Sol Ro as they have some abilities that work on all types of spell damage...and the cloak has a nice proc as well on every spell attack.</DIV>

I am considering betraying and becoming a Wizard...hate to loose all the master spells, but I guess in the long run I will be much happier not having to take the shaft in everything. The solro is custom fit for a Wizard, and only sorta appeals to us Warlocks, what 3 out of the 9? If they would have included bertox and gave warlocks similar boosts via poison and or disease, maybe it would have been sorta equal.<div></div>

I'm trying out Sol Ro to begin with. The way I figure it if I don't like it I can always do a different one later. I wonder, if you renounce your faith can you still use the cloak from that diety? <div></div>

<div></div><div></div>EDIT: I need to learn to read. GOOD warlocks. sorry. disregard the following, lolI went Inny for now.Maestro's Song (Miracle): Apoc on designer steroids with a HoT. Go go Warlock-Druid.Can't remember the name of the Blessing, but it's a 10 min buff that mana-taps on every successful hostile spell. Could be nice for those mana fights. Not a huge issue with the nest robe on, but gives some flexibility I guess. Seems worth trying. We'll see. These diety things will be fun to play with. Judging by the damage numbers some of them dump, we'll potentially get to test the cloth-wearer survivability changes too, lol. On that note, our Wizzie dropped Fusion on the last of the three princes last night and tanked it for about 10 sec and didn't die, haha.<div></div><p>Message Edited by GLScooby on <span class=date_text>11-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:52 PM</span>

I went Sol Ro. Nice stuff. Yeah, alot of the abilities are geared specifically towards a wizard, but in my opinion the better ones are good for all classes that have spell dmg. I get a one time use 18000dmg nuke, and a 10 minute buff that adds a 250-500dmg proc to EVERY dmg spell i cast on the mob. The cloak adds 65dmg to every dmg spell casted, another huge plus. For those going sol ro, when you kill the final named mob and the Avatar decends on you, make sure noone in the group hails him period, just let him run thru his dialogue and then the reward window pops up. Loving the new EoF changes, Warlocks(all casters) are a true asset in PvP, and the only bad thing is yellow con mobs resist alot, where as they didnt before EoF. <div></div>

<div></div><div></div>Bertoxxulous is a god that would appeal not only to warlocks, but also: Shadowknights, Necromancers, and Defilers -- all of which are centered on poison or disease. That being the case and my [huge] assumption that the next expansion (or the one after it) will introduce a new evil race and a new evil starting city ... I would expect that Bertie will be one of the gods introduced should they choose to expand the deity system at that time. In the meantime ... go with Sol Ro ... damage is damage and he is by far the best choice for sorcerers. Unless you are a roleplayer. Then you're just SOL as a good-aligned warlock. LOL <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> a good-aligned warlock ... who ever heard of such a thing ... pfft ... <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> j/k<div></div><p>Message Edited by Vicontessa on <span class=date_text>11-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:58 PM</span>
