No, It used to be a much much smaller amount. The only use for it before was to farm nil crystals. Now it is somewhat useful.

Im thinking taking 5600 power from a mob might get you on his poopoo list.

this spell is as long totally useless - till it's changed from absolute numbers to a % base.<div></div>

It's a flat debuff reduction of <b>maximum possible </b>health pool ... So for example ... mob X Heroic has 7500 HP ... you debuff for 1k of max HP ... the way this curse works is that its max is reduced ... to 6500. So it would be 6500 current/6500 max. NOT 6500/7500 which would be simply a decrease of HP - not the max #it's most useful vs. heroic encounters ... as 5xxx HP won't mean anything to an Epic.<div></div>

Pathetic spell, you either have to cast it close to mob death or continuly recast it on the encounter just to maintain the -5K hitpoints, you are far better off spending the power on a nuke to reduce its actual hitpoints. Make the spell do nothing but summon 10 nil crystals with a 5 min recast and it would be an improvement. <div></div>
