View Full Version : Thank You SOE.
<DIV>you finally listened to most of the warlock pleas and changed the explosiveness AA line to do more damage and increased the radius as well. Also reduced the duration of our dots is a big plus as well.</DIV>

Overall I think they did a great job on our AAs, and the spell changes as well. I love the new Concussive. I haven't tried it out in a raid yet (not until tonight) but in a guild group in Obelisk of Blight yesterday I had no problem avoiding aggro if I dropped Concussive and Vullian Nullification at the start of a fight. I can't wait to see how well Aftershock works <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I plan on going down that and the Vacuos line personally. All in all great job on the class improvements and what I've seen so far of the expansion is pretty sweet!<div></div>

I can just say that Aftershock is worth every AA you have to spend to get it!!! It's like a free Netherous Realm, just that it doesnt proc off of every spell. On beta the damage on my aftershocks ranged from 350 - ~600 with 580 int...because I couldnt get my int higher i just lowered it to see, if int has an effect on the aftershocks and yes, it does affect the damage output...<div></div>

ll think that they need to require 15 aa points for all lnes.. other classes are getting 3 aa lines ... so cmon now <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Yea, I did post that in the AA-farum...I just think it's not right to give a tree with only 5 AA's where the last ability requires you to spend 20 AA's into the 5-AA-tree...it forces you to max out AA's you probably wouldn't want to max out...The only AA-line that should still require 20 AA's is the hastening line, as it has the biggest number of AA's in it's tree...Also there seems to be a little fluke in the trees (removal-tree), as there is an ability from a different tree in the removal line that is needed to advance in removals...<div></div>

very happy with the changes here now, dying like once every few hours instead of every few pulls <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> and usually the death is my fault <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> - very very happy with the new concussive change - is so much better this way, cant' check the new AA's yet as i can't afford the expansion till friday, but then I will undoubtedly be even more happy <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<DIV>Indeed. I'm glad that some of the major concerns of our class were addressed. I'm not sold on all of the fixes (Curse of Isolation in particular), and I dislike having my spell resistability decreased, but my aggro problems are much more manageable and the options we have for our AA line are much better than the original beta line. We now have the added bonus of a group buff agrro management spell, AND we can reduce the casting/ability range of epic encounters (helloooooo raid usefullness! Try AoEing the casters <EM>now</EM>! hehe). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Overall, I'm thrilled that the hard work so many people in our class have put in to inform the devs of our issues and post possible <EM>reasonable </EM>(usually :smileywink<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> solutions is finally paying off. Thanks to the devs who finally paid the warlocks some much needed attention, and even more thanks to those who went the extra mile to continue posting to grab that attention!</DIV>

I'm glad everyone else is happy but its a shame while other classes are using their AA lines to increase their damage Warlocks are still not able to put out the DPS to deserve the aggro we are getting. I'm talking about raids not groups. Groups seem to a little better, our raid dps is still to low compared to what other classes are doing in raid. I'm only at 62 AA's so I guess I'l wait till see what happens when I get the explosive line finished. <div></div>
