View Full Version : 3% Hate Transfer is Negligible

Im sad to see that all the Sorcerers are getting for hate transfer is 3%, i think a large majority of the player base would agree, they steal aggro more than any other caster, and do in fact need hate reduction. However, 3% as seen and tested in Beta groups is not enough. I do believe this would be more useful in a raid with other deaggros and <b>stackability</b> with warlock and wizzard having the transfer on the MT. Even then it is not enough, what i am asking for is something closer to <b>15%</b>.I know i have seen this in a previous thread but could not find it in the first few pages, thus the new thread. Its going to take a lot of people to get this changed so please state your plea.

Can you imagine how awesome it would be if we had our own version of Amends?I love playing Warlock, but I can't deny that there's always the feeling in the back of my head "god i'm gonna get aggro again, gonna [Removed for Content] off the tank, gonna endanger the group..."All I'm saying is I have a noticeable difference in experience, I have more FUN in playing when Amends is on me...Tbh, maybe the 2%-3% is enough on their papers, but I don't get a noticeable feeling about it and I think it is that what counts in gameplay.<div></div>

Does anyone else have a consistent problem with your Boon buff dropping off the tank when you raid? Raiding is the only time i use the buff but im having to rebuff it almost every encounter. Is this thing on a timer, or max number of triggers? Cant seem to figure it out. <div></div>

[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], now i have to start asigning tanks, or just buffing my sorcerer counterparts with it so they die then i dont have to worry about it. <div></div>

<div>Nah, they don't stack, I'm the only Warlock in the raid so it has to be the wizards cancelling out mine. The only thing you can do is to make an arrangement with the wizards or to cast it on another fighter, even if it's not the MT.It may not be the correct thing, coz the MT should have all the hate, but another fighter won't pull off aggro if you transfer it 2-3% hate.<blockquote><hr>Yslaine wrote:<div></div> <p>My mistake then, i took for a fact what i read a long time ago in this post ... which for some reason i thought it came from an official statement :</p> <p>"think someone replied in the wizzie thread about this and said ...wizzie and warlock one stack but a warlock and warlock does not...same for wizzie " (from <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/view_profile?user.id=29116" target="_blank"><span>iceriven2</span><font color="#e3d034"> </font></a> in this post <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=24&message.id=20500" target="_blank">LU27 Warlock hate transfer </a>)</p> <blockquote> <hr></blockquote></blockquote></div>

<DIV> I have a good raid setup. We have an illus for the scout. We have dirge for the tank. We have troub for the casters. I have amends on me from a pally. I have 3% deaggro and cast every deaggro when its up. I still pull solo mob aggro off of a guardian with master taunts(and master proc taunt) that is and has been a higher level than me. I should be able to cast myself blue in the face with this setup. Specially since the scout is outdamaging me at least 30% even on groups. No logic in this at all. </DIV> <DIV> I pulled two solo mobs off him last raid we went on and Im not chain casting attacks. I pause and let him generate some hate. Then start debuffing. I work my way up from smallest attacks to the biggest. I am casting deaggros the entire time on every time up. I dont use rift because Im not familiar with the zones and dont want additional aggro. It makes me sad that in a raid built for a caster im still not safe from aggro. </DIV>

Two players can't put a deaggro-buff on eachother (well they can, but the effect is gone.)And still, if your tank is fabled out and you have amends on you, then it's very hard to get aggro right away. Either your tank can't play (wearing fabled does NOT equal skill) or you didn't have amends on you at all.</div>

<P> Had the hate transfer on a guardian and the pally had amends on me. Im a problem child within the raid cause all my spells are upgraded. I basically have a healer assigned to me. The problem is Im trying to be good. Im not banging anything big outta the box. I wait for 10 seconds for the guard to build hate. Then debuff a bit then work from smallest to largest while using detaunts. I respecced my aa and now have another detaunt for 1k so we will see how it works. </P> <P> What makes me sad is that I pull so much aggro and our scout can do twice the damage I can and still not pull. Scouts get way higher mit and higher damage. I cant remember why I wanted to play a caster. Im debating leveling my swash and parking the warlock. </P>
