<div></div><div></div>hi,This does improve, i remember having some power issues in the 50's and 60's but as you get kitted out with better gear, i.e. more int and some flowing thought, they disappear. Theres a HQ that rewards you with a manastone and a 2nd mana vessel quest available in living tombs, make sure you do both of these. The second vessel can be upgraded if you are following the Peacock, prismatic 2 quest line at the final stage. Also, your AAs can help when maxed out. Wisdom line helps a lot by enabling you to do more damage for less power (brainstorm and freehand sorcery) and the final 12% power cost reduction. You can make a macro to unequip your secondary item, cast freehand sorcery and then click on the item in a hotbar to reequip. You do, however need that slot empty all the time for the 8% base damage increase.basically, just be patient, i have zero power issues at 70.hope that helps<div></div><p><span class="time_text"></span></p><p>Message Edited by Pilgrim Divine on <span class=date_text>09-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:38 AM</span>

Running out of power is definitely normal, at least in groups. Solo, I always ran out of health first. Things that help you get more power: 1. A chanter or bard in your group (duh!) 2. Better self-power conversions. At 55, you just got Ghastly Contract, which gives you a few hundred points. In addition, "Endow Energy" can be used on yourself as a power over time self regeneration. Finally, at 52, you learned Shadowed Pillaging, which gives your entire group power over time. The pillaging spell is not recommended if you're soloing or in shorter fights, though. 3. Flowing thought/power regen items. You don't have many options at your current level, but a few lower priced flowing thought items are the Wristplate of the Rancid (level 57), Bloodwind Bracelet (level 64), or the Leggsicon (level 62). X'haviz Gown of Glory also has a small power regen proc. All of these items are from Kingdom of Sky. As a general rule, look at which spells do more damage per power as well. You'll notice your dots and your distortion spell have the best damage-to-power ratios, thus giving you better bang for your buck. Unfortunately, dots stink in most situations, though, as nothing lasts long enough - but some damage is better than none. <div></div>

Don't ask why, because I never figured out, but the general raiding warlock has just a larger power pool than the other mages I've seen. Don't forget dude... when you get into t7.. there is a ton of FT gear, (if you raid, I guess). <div></div>

<div></div>12% power cost reduction is massive help on raids, wisdom AA line makes a big difference. Chances are you will be stuck with a chanter or bard anyway that will help as well. As far as grouping goes just need to use health to power spell whenever it is available, preferably before and after fights. I gave up nearly all of my FT items for +power, +int and procs, so I have to cycle it pretty much all the time no matter what class I'm grouped with. Honestly the only class I don't see running out of power is a necro. But, I agree, at 70 it got a lot better and I'm not exactly sure why.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Splatterpunk28 on <span class=date_text>10-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:49 AM</span>

+power procs like from the Gown of Glory from nest and the Necromantic Orb of the Death Reveler from the x2 guy in forsalem city are both easy to get and give SO much more power in-combat than FT its rediculous. There are also some rarer items that have +power procs, the best being the pants from MO which is like 10% to proc 300-ish power. Two items from DT, shoulders from Tarinax and pants from the Cruor guy. Most high end raid mages choose the added 10% to power pool as their character traits instead of FT 10. Also, Gnomes get an extra permanent 3% power pool as a racial trait. So a decently geared mage can get over 7300 power self buffed. +power clickie items are also very helpful and there are alot that are fairly easy to get. Wizards get a hat from vaults that gives like 450 power, but warlocks can get the stein from nek3, dracomancer gloves (very sweet, give like 1000 power), and i think there is something from a raid mob in temple of scale, like a tablet or something. So lots of help can be had from items. I use gown of glory, necromantic orb, and mystical pants from MO and i do not run out of power on long fights like cheldrak. I also have STR and AGI aa's so i cast alot.Daenarys70 WarlockMob SquadKithicor<div></div>

The Cruor pants proc on a spell attack where MO pants proc on a hostile spell. Now if only my guild got more than 1 pull a spawn we might be able to figure out the mob. The other guild that camps it likes to first pull kill it, so we gotta get there first and pull immediately. An exciting race, but victory is not yet ours.I use the necromantic orb and love it, on any given raid it will give me 10-12k power over the course of the night not to mention the damage that goes with it. Now say a raid took 2 hours and you had a FT5 in that slot instead; you would only get 6k power over the course of that raid, and that includes down times when you're already full on power.
