<DIV>For pvp SK is better then Necro/Warlock by far. At least if you take the time to get some fabled gear in the end game. You'll have it a ton easier to gear up your SK anyway. Masters for them drop so often compared to Necro/Warlock ones. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For PVE solo purposes warlock is better then a SK. </DIV>

I play both, and have each in the 50s (Sk at 59, warlock at 53). I think the SK is a more interesting toon. I find the SK is easier to solo. I will take on MOBs with the SK that I would always run from with the warlock. If the warlock gets a resist or 2 in a group of MOBs, then they will be on you and interrupting so much, you are wiped out. Whereas the SK has the utility of Feign Death and Evac. I die a whole lot more with my warlock than I ever do with my SK. If you want to solo, go SK.My thoughts,<div></div>

<P>On the other hand, if you want to push the limits a lil bit, a Warlock could be a good choice. And by that I mean taking on really tough heroics mobs by yourself. Of course, it's not possible with every mob setup(and lvl I guess), but at least up until lvl48, which is my lvl right now, I've been able to take out yellow con single target heroics ever since the low teens. During your 20s, 30s and 40s this should be able to net you great excitement and exp.</P> <P>As a sidenote, I'm not too familiar with other classes(except Paladin and Mystic), so I don't really know if they can do this too...</P> <P>/Jorella</P>

<div></div>I recent;y rolled a Shadowknight - level 30 now - and so far I love it. Lots of fun to play. Then again - so is the warlock. Try both and see which one you stick with or "want to play" the most. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Only thing I'd add is ... neither class really gets its "cool" abilities right away ... you do need to play them past level 15 or so to get the full feel.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Vicontessa on <span class=date_text>09-27-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:11 PM</span>

With the SK, I can solo ^^^ if they are 9 levels below me and it is tight. With the warlock, I do not even try ^^^ solo anymore. I have not figured out how to make it work. I get too many resists, root break, then I get an interrupt and 2 hits later I am dead. I know both boards have tons of people saying how they can solo ^^^, but I really don't think the average player can do so. I also think it takes a bit of luck to do so. Then again, maybe I just have not figured out how to do it.On a side note, I tanked the djinni for CQ4 at lvl 59 with help from a 70 lvl warden last night. It was a blast.</div>

I have a Level 70 sk with 50 aa and even when he was in mostly treasured and legendary gear you can easily solo ^^^'s that are about 4 levels lower than you. At 70 with 1/3 fabled and rest legendary I can solo 68^^^'s or 2 67^^^ at the same time. Even a 69^^^ is possible with the right gear/masters. 70^^^'s still do too much damage compared to what I can heal back right now but Im sure once Im fully fabled they are possible. Use your kick and shield bash to get your reactive heal up everytime it resets. Use your lifetaps all of them. Use your pet. Pretty much use all you have and its quite easy. On the other hand I have a 63 warlock and he would get owned by the same mobs with 1 bad root break if I cant get a stun off in time. Sk's are without a doubt one of the best soloing classes in the game along with brawlers, necros and conj. Add to the the ability to FD, Evac, aoe lifetap (sooo good and almost a complete heal on 8 mobs) and you have a character that has a little bit of everything. Regardless of what people say we can MT endgame raids and we can DPS. I typically do 700-1k dps even on single targets on raids and my maxes so far are 1380ish single target and 2236 on a group of mobs (Den). <div></div>
