Here's my nuke cycle on a group:Tumultuous Maelstrom > Aura of Nihility > Curse of Isolation (need those [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] crystals) > Netherous Realm > Corrupt Gift > Dark Infestation > Nebula > Freehand Casting (AA) > Apocalypse > Vulian Nullification > Void Absolution Then it pretty much starts over again on the encounter DDs filling in with single target DDs when none of the encounter based ones are available. I try to keep Aura of Nihility on a target always, as its free DPS.

Here is what I have been doing, I'm very new to Raiding as I just made 70 last weekend. Constructive critisism is welcome

Temultuous Maelstrom > Aura of Nihility > Corrupt Gift > Soul Blister > Vullian Interference > Scourge of Shadows > War Pyre > Soul Blister > FHS > Void Distortion > Soul Blister

Rinse and Repeat.

Now I try to lead with debuffs then dots then DD to try and manage agro. I went on a MoA4 run last night and died 19 times, the group wiped maybe 4 times total and I was usually the first to get wacked. I still cannot figure out why. Even times I led off with a hex doll and did ZERO damage, the mob still decided to have me for an appetizer. Needless to say I was very frustrated by the end of the night. On a positive note, the RAID was successful and many completed their MoA, unfortunatly I wasn't one of them (not up to that part yet).

Easy to get agro for a sorcerer. You can get it really fast on Dots alone...no nukes or aoes...just any tank besides a pally can loose agro to a sorcerer that does nothin but dot(on a raid that is)....keep that in mind

Incorporate Netherous Realm into your arsenal. This really procs some solid dmg with our Aoes, I try to get the broodlings up with it. Test it out on some trash and check your logs. Also, use Rift when you can.. its near zero Aggro so you can cast it early and not pull aggro. Just make double/triple sure theres no wanders around. When mobs are mezzed don't use Dark Infestation, Rift, Chaostorm. Out of encounter dmg (pbaoe) breaks em.

Singles:Maelstrom > Dark infestation> Catalyst + Apocalypse> Netherous realm (by this time broodlings should be up)> Netherlord>Scourge > Nihility> Blister > Distortion> Pyre2 Mobs:Same as above through netherlord, then Vulian> Nihility> Absolution > Nebula. Depending on tank I will use concussive before Vulian and target the mob that the raid isnt attacking.3+ Mobs:ALL depending on tank and what kind of deaggro i have....For instance, if I am in MT group with a pally tanking trash and amends on me i go for max dps without any concern for aggro.corrupt gift> maelstrom> Dark Infestation> catalyst + Apocalypse> Chaostorm (Favorite aoe beasides Apocalypse)> Netherous Realm> Nihility> Absolution> Chaostorm> NebulaIf I use Rift on a fight, I will usually precast it to have it land right as mobs get to the raid. Otherwise it's usually better to use encounter aoes for max dps, unless of course there are more than one encounter.Daenarys70 Warlock Mob SquadKithicor

The key to keeping your dps all the way up there? Keep your DoTs on.. that way you're not losing as many numbers casting your big spells such as Apoc., Void Absolution, etc, and yes, dumbfire pets are awesome too. Because they are unconcentrated damage, meaning you can be doing damage while doing other damage!

personally i would cast Rift much much earlier, it has very little aggro and if you leave it to the end, a lot of the mobs may already be dead, thus reducing its effectiveness for max DPS

I NEVER start out with Rift straight up front. If anything, I will casting our PB AE DoT then cast Rift.. because the casting time is soooo long, you'd be losing a lot of DPS not having some other damage going on while casting it.

Pretty much situational, but for the most part all of my fast cast, dots, and debuffs are always running. I cast them in between my large nukes. I do change my casting depending on the mobs, zones, and hp of the mobs in question.

I can tell you that rift is a huge waste of time unless you have multiple mobs with lots of hp and nothing really to cast to hit them all but rift.

Dont forget to debuff. Maelstorm is your friend.

when I cast rift it is when the tank is getting ready to pull. I time it so it hits as soon as the mobs get to us. Saves the casting time, and I usually get my best dps out of that.

War Pyre is a VERY important DoT to keep up with. It will make up for the majority of your damage, this coming from someone parsing 1k-1400k on normal hitpointed single encountered raid mob in T7. I could post a graph if you'd like.. of all the spells/proc items and what they hit for.

There's something wrong with your tank if you're pulling aggro from just DoTs(besides Apocalypse).
