<div></div>Considering going WIS/AGI.....Edit: Just found this link, http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=24&message.id=19480 but would still like to here answers to the followingQ1: what the consensus (if there is one) is in regards to AA line for solo warlock?Q2: How are players dealing with different lines that require different things to be equipped?Q3: finally, I'm sure its all about effectiveness, but wondering why players don't do three lines but at a lowerlevel of investment.<p>Message Edited by JackBurtonBTLC on <span class=date_text>08-28-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:09 PM</span>

I for a lot of these you can't go wrong tough part is getting the AAs in the first place if your not level 70, you will only get a trinkling of them, so you need to plan to optimize the ones you do get. Also there is always respec, first few are fairly cheap. I'd be interested to hear from the "expert" warlocks in here, what they would call the "must have" solo ones, from reading, I think the WIZ line is probably one of them<div></div>

<div></div>-I would only go INT if you are going to raiding but even then its not necessary.  -STR is very nice with the passive crit bonus..... I love catalyst but i dont know if you would wanna take the HP hits while soloing.  -AGI is helpful because it makes fights shorter. If you decide to use a dagger that interrupt CA could be very helpful.-WIS is probably the best line for soloing becase of the massive extra damage you get with freehand and brainstorm. Max Freehand + crit makes Apocalypse tick consistently for 2500 on solo mobs and about 3500 on raid debuffed  mobs. The 12% power cost reduction is also good no matter what you are doing.-I havent toyed with STA but  that manashield looks super cool. its basicaly another 7k hp. Rest of the line is meh.I raid lots so i have 4448 STR and 44481 AGI. I was getting WAY too much aggro with WIS  and it sucks having to give up Arm of Mithaniel or Fitzpitzles.Chel'drak ring + AGI end AA + drake familiar = 36 sec reuse timer on Apocalypse M1 (can also cast it in 3.4 seconds in a bard group)Daenarys70 WarlockMob SquadKithicor<div></div><p>Message Edited by Melseb on <span class=date_text>08-28-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:34 PM</span>

For soloing I like the AGI line, as those really long casting spells have that much less of a chance to get interrupted. After that, probably WIS just for the extra damage and the little ward.<div></div>

<DIV>Solo is not about faster recast - we to much depend on roots - thus its more important harder hit so STR/WIS FTW. In sence then you solo you want kill mob with minimum spell casted (aka least chance for root to brake)</DIV>

I prefer to play it safe and assume they'll break, and I'll want to get a stun, daze, teleport, or root off as fast as possible. The recast part of the AGI line I don't really care about, the faster casting is a life saver though.</div>

<DIV>2 Roots at once FHSed braistormed Apocal <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> and prey at least 1 root survive and if not then at least fear not brakes...</DIV> <DIV>I prefer a bit slower kill but much safer.... Keep roots alive and use heaviest nukes and only 1 dot (Apocal that is per se not dot but Rain type of attack)</DIV>
