The 'Seal' line used to be an INT & STR group buff. As said by the others, we've never had evac.

The Seal line was infinitely more useful than what we have now.

Even a small +somethingteenish INT buff beats what we have now. At master, my Seal of Dismal Logic buffs casting skills by 33, which does...pretty much nothing as far as I can tell.

But the lack of an intelligence buff is more than made up for by the fact we have a eva-ERR... nevermind.

Aelleor

Officer, Eidolon

Antonia Bayle

The Seal Line of spells is a very nice buff.

We did lose a Int buff which is more practical, but with another caster in the group you can max your int pretty easy.

I can not max my Int with my own gear, but you can use potions to up your Int. (not raid geared)

The seal line with the our focus buff makes a warlock very good caster, you get very few resists from the seal buffs. And can cast with mobs beating on you to try to save your self.

I dont raid with my warlock, but from playing a warlock i have changed my Main Fury to get very high Focus and disruption.

My fury is soo much better to play with these buffs.

HAving a Int buff is more practical and ou see instant boost, but the seal line is more of a stealth buff, it works in the back ground that you dont notice as much.

My coercer has an AA ability that buffs his subjugation by 42. I have seen his resists on subjugation spells decrease to almost non-existant. I have also noticed this change on duels, where I can actually land a spell on a player with 6k+ mental resist.

Last night during Chel'Drak(who is an orange conned mob) i did not have the seal line up as i had 3 scouts in the group plus having Nihilistics on the MT, i saw ZERO difference from the week before in resists, fizzles, etc with the seal line up. The buff is suppose to help against higher level mobs to reduce the amount you fizzle and get resisted.

Lockeye may have done a test for the combat changes but if you read anything he says no one will agree with him(even on ranger boards about ranger dps) and that he doesnt know what he is talking about. Hard raw data or not his information is wrong as it has contradicted MG, BG and other devs before.

IIRC the level 13ish (sorceror) version of the Seal line was an int/str buff, but the warlock upgrades to it gave out of combat power regen.
