My alt is a level 9 qeynosian wizard, but I want to be a warlock.I would delete him and make a warlock if he was not level 50 alchemist. Is it possible that being a warlock and staying qeynos?<div></div>

Warlocks can be of either alignment.

<P>The only way you can change your current alt to warlock is to do the betrayal. However you would become a citizen of Freeport so if you wanted to remain in Qeynos you would have to betray back, but you would be able to stay a warlock.</P> <P>But for the fact that your alt is a level 50 alchemist I would say reroll, however losing a level 50 tradeskiller is quite harsh and I can see why you wouldn't want to do this.</P> <P>I would think its either betray and betray back, or if you have a spare character slot, keep your wizard and treat him as a tradeskiller only and roll another alt, make him a warlock and have fun levelling him up instead.</P> <P>Good luck.</P>

You can work on faction for either city after you get to Haven. I haven't finished yet...but I'd suggest you try getting a few more levels before betraying. I think you get invisibility at 15...that might be very helpful for some of the faction quests.<div></div>

I would suggest betraying, I am doing it on my Zerker. The instance zones that give the most faction are lvl based so it is doable at lvl 9 but the suggestion above to get a few lvls would help you out a lot. Not becuase it would be easier to do but more spells will be open to you that will help out on some of the quests, most notabley invis becuase there are some you can just run through and never have too fight. Some of the instances can be tough though I suggest if you try one and can't get through a couple times Duo with someone as it makes things a ton easier. Also body pulls are the win I would pull with an arrowe with my zerk and get half the room, just running up I'd always get just one. I hope this helps a bit, if you need anymore help or have questions give me a cross-server tell or a forum PM. Krystal Mistmoore server <div></div>

Oh to answer your question on length it can be a pretty time consumeing process but it is a ton of fun now. The old betray was boring go kill a ton of x mob then a bunch of names, this one there are quests, real quests. while they do not award items they do give you a nice chunk of xp, and after a few you will have faction enough to walk around Qeynos again. <div></div>

If you betray Qeynos, you can work your way back to eiter a citizen of Freeport or Qeynos. After you become a citizen again, you can go to either the Wizard or the Warlock class trainer to start your new career.</P> <P>Blackfire</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Betraying has two major steps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. First step you need to become an exile. This process takes around 1hour to do the quest. You can only start this quest at level 10. </DIV> <DIV>2. Second step, as exile you need to work your faction back to either freeport or qeynos. It doesn't matter if you came from FP or Q. You can just work your faction back to Q if you came from Q. This process takes 12 faction quests of about 15-20mins and then 2 final quests that make you full citizen again, they take around 30mins each. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So takes a few hours to betray. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As you see you can betray your Q Wizard to a Q Warlock without having to go through FP.</DIV>
