Will we ever get lamia or shadowed men? Suggestion thread! :)

<div></div><div></div>Well?  Wouldn't that be cool?  We already summon nightbloods.  I think summoning lamia -- one or three - or perhaps a random number between 2 and 5 -- of varying strengths / abilties -- would be right up our alley ... I thought of this after reading the Lore discussions dealing with the Void / Vul / Warlocks.And if we do summon them ... what should be their purpose?  Charming?  Power drain?  Confusion? <P>The thing is though, Necromancers already have a Lamia like pet (at least the look), so I think Shadowman would be a lot more cool. As far as I know, no class can summon anything that looks like shadowmen, so it would catch people off guard.</P> <P>As for possible effects, I think the caster version as mentioned above would be great. It would have it's own unique (allbeit small) spell line, maybe an interrupt, short stifle, nuke, and DoT.</P>

Hmm... another pet summon spell would definately be something great for us. However, I would really like to see us get a utility spell. Maybe some kind of ward we can use? <div></div>

<DIV>Wisdom AA line has a regenerating ward and I would say 90% of warlocks would have it since that line is a very large boost to DPS. <div></div>Great ideas!I didn't think about the fact that Necro's have the lamia look-alike.  Yeah that would be lame to share a model between two classes so I agree ... Summoning shadowed men would rock!The ward suggestion is a good one.  ... I'd love to see the shadowed men cast an instant ward ... let's say 10 seconda duration for an uber ward that could save your butt -- while putting out some encounter-only AoE.  (Like the broodlings but not periodic and not PBAoE.)  They spawn -- ward you - do a moderately strong nuke apiece - poof in a cool cloud of smoke or some neat effect - and when you get the aggro the ward keeps you standing.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Or you could do the variation ... like if you get one shadowed man he would be stronger - like an up-arrow encounter ... and nuke ... or if you get three they would be weaker and maybe be melee swarm ... or two would be ward / DPS or power drain / ward or something along those lines.  That would be cool.  A unique swarm pet AND one that adds a little utility along with the DPS.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Vicontessa on <span class=date_text>06-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:35 AM</span>
