I started an illusionist but deleted and went Warlock. I am an experienced player since the hour that the Antonia Bayle server opened. I have a Zerker and a Templar. My question is really about some spells. What is bind sight and why would I want to see through the eyes of an ally? How does one use this spell? Also to keep competitive should I keep my spells the best I can get and is gear as important to me as it is to a tank? I pretty much posted a similar topic in the illusionist forums but no reply as of yet. My wife made a conjorer and we are going to do a non-typical group..

To answer your question about bind sight, you could leave it off your hotbar and never miss it. It does have some very limited uses such as using it when someone is trying to show you where something is etc.

That is what I thought but was not sure. Adpt 3 or higher on my spells if I can afford it. It helps having a high lvl Zerker to go in and get some coin.....=)

It's my opinion that all the vision lines are completely useless. Anyone who wants to see more clearly is going to simply turn up their gamma. No one wants to run around with a screen that is purple or yellow (ultravision and sonicvision) and no one wants a pitch black screen where you can see the mobs but not where you are going (infravision) and when is anyone going to care about seeing through the eyes of another when a scout can just run ahead and be like "Oh yeah there are XYZ mobs in here." Or for that matter when you can invis yourself or some else to get the report. So yeah ... don't worry much about those.

Message Edited by Vicontessa on 06-14-2006 09:51 AM
