I have yet to even come close to beating a healing class.  Their damage is good and I can't kill them fast enough for them to not to heal.  Is this a lost cause or am I missing something.  I try to get stifle in as much as possible and freeze, but it doesn't make a difference.  I have also tried dispelling myself and them, hoping to stop those with HOT spells.  No luck.  Today I even sought out revenge on a 33 Fury who owned me a moment before (I'm 34).  He was fighting a mob, he managed to finish the equal lvl mob...run a little ways to get some power then proceeded to own me.   Of course when you want the shackle fear to work it does not, and our mana draining spell is just stupidAny thoughts...or do I just learn to run?<div></div>

<div></div><p>Furies are very tough for us 1v1 (like they are for everyone) because they have enough DPS to complement their powerful healing.  They are really the only healing class I have any trouble killing.  You're doing what you can, the problem is that we don't have the tools for locking down healers that other casters do.  We have basically 3 interrupts:  interference, freeze and our encounter stun nuke.  The encounter stun nuke takes 3 seconds to cast though so it's not that great.</p><p>The only way you'll beat a fury is to get them in a chain healing mode early so they feel like they can't do anything else.  Get the jump on them, hit them with freeze, debuff, curse of darkness, interference, distortion, ae stun nuke then dot them.  It's not a sure thing though.  Our slow cast times make this a tough fight regardless.  If you don't have adept 3 or better damage spells I'd just avoid them because you have no prayer.</p>

<div>Depending on your lvl I'd ae stun if you have the drop infestation quick stun and hope it procs then drop dev/apoc thwart ae dd followed by single dd and see where you are maybe throw in a root so when it breaks they get feared for a few secs enough to maybe finish them out.</div>

<div>If the healer knows what he hast ot cure ... no way you beat him. They can cure the dark broodlings, they can cure devastation, they can cure aura of nihility, they can cure ...  ah wait i'll say what they can not cure. They can not cure our DD spells. So good luck at beating them.</div>
