<div>My wife has a 39 Warlock. Prior to LU21, she was able to kill the wolves in Rivervale with no problems. Even when she was 37 she had NO problems killing 2 level 36^ wolves.</div><div> </div><div>Now she's 39, and since yesterdays patch, she dies almost all the time!</div>

Oh god!  The game might actually be challenging!  Be careful! Two level 37 ^ should be extremely challenging to solo if not impossible.  They have not been - to date - becuase this game ... is EASY.No - in all seriousness.  Maybe the wolves were just bumped up a bit.  ? Not sure about low levels but I have not noticed any difference.<div></div>

<div></div>They have been revamping the CA's of mobs. They now can use their upgraded abilites like we can when we level. So they started with KoS and hten went down the line until they revamped it all. So yeah the mobs probably got pumped up.

<div></div><p>NPC's are worse than animals, although animals got bumped up too.  Wolves have some strong debuffs and DoTs as I recall now, and they can "melee" them onto you from range.</p><p>I have a problem with NPC's now though because it has gotten kind of silly... like a good idea that ran amok.  I routinely have to fight NPC tandems that can melee/cast/buff/debuff/stun/mez/root/slow/ward/reactive heal even if both NPC's have titles like soldier or grunt or something else that would imply melee.  The intent of this may have been to make things more interesting/challenging, but it ends up feeling like mobs can do it all and have an "I win" button that they may or may not decide to use.  There are player classes that can do casting/healing and melee... like pally or SK, but they are better fighters than healers.  These NPCs are supremely talented at everything they do, and that seems to be the problem.</p><p>The other problem is that NPC's can spam their spells and we seem to have no immunity timers on them, so if you engage a group of say 4-6 down arrow mobs, you may find yourself permanently stunned or slowed or rooted, and they can daisy-chain heals amongst each other.   Debuffs like trauma or noxious are pretty much spammed onto you and it is almost futile to try to remove them as they spam right back on almost instantly.  It has the effect of raising say a green NPC to at least the difficulty of a blue con.</p><p>Like I said earlier, a very good idea perhaps not implemented with quite enough sophistication is now producing NPC's with skillsets that would make a fully fabled shadowknight jealous.</p>
