Some mid level parser questions

<div>Hey All,</div><div> </div><div>Today in my groups I decided to run a parser on my Warlock(currently 2<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> to see how he was ranking DPS wise in groups. I was pleasantly suprised that I was almost always at the top of my groups, however the the couple times I was beat out was not by another T1 DPS class but a berserker or a monk! and they were blowing away the scout classes in my group. All my Damage spells are Adept 3 or higher with my AoE ones Master II and Master I, Dark Distortion Master I as well. Was wondering if this was a common occurence with tanks beating us in DPS or coming up into our Tier or if this is something that fades with time, also I examined them as well to see if they were twinks but nope.</div><div> </div>

<div>Its not uncommon to see a monk or serker with high dps</div><div>i think there are 2 factors</div><div>1 the tank needs to do as much dps as possible to hold agro (this is even more important when a warlock in the group)</div><div>2 its possible being a tank they need to have better gear to tank better, its possible he had good gear and that may have helped him.</div><div> </div><div>I have level 66 warlock, and serkers often try to match my dps on AE mobs and they can do sometimes</div><div> </div><div>I would expect a serker to come close to your DPS on AE mob</div><div>But not a monk, i would expect you to pull agro on a AE mob with a monk tanking</div><div>Single target mobs monks do well with</div>

<div></div>Also tanks tend to be the ones with damage shields applied on them, those bits of damage count toward their recorded DPS and can add up in the right situations.
