<div></div>lol, I just incorporate dieing into my play style.  I expect to die atleast 5 times during any given session and atleast 10 during raid nights.  My record is somewhere around 25 (wasn't keeping track, but I did go through 2 sets of armor on 1 mob).  :smileyvery-happy:

Back before all the death penalty changes, I had lost two shard in stormhold. I was having abad night and that really set me over the edge. I was so mad I had given up and fully planned to delete my char. So in utter spite and frustration I stood around and let kliknik beetles kill me over, and over and over. WITH shard recovery I was up to about 120% debt, before I calmed down and just logged off for the night. I think it took a week for logoff time to wipe the debt.So...I didn't help the ranking much, did I? <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div>Same problem here.  My warlock has the lowest KVD of all my toons.  I would attribute this to being AE, but not getting AE root until lvl 40, as well as not getting an effective encounter aggro redirect, or encounter aggro reduction at all.

<div></div><p>Don't sweat it. I got a lot of grief from my guildies when I hit the top 100 list for most deaths on our server. I finally realized that a lot of it has to do with being willing to take chances that others are not willing to take. I guess I could cut my death rate considerably if I would stick to single blue mobs, but that's not what I want to do. I finally realized that for me, not dying means I am not trying. I would rather die ten times in one night and complete my quest than sit around and kill green mobs. But that's just me...</p><p>When I compare myself to other casters, I only really consider wizards, as the summoner and enchanter subclasses are designed to be played in an entirely different manner. I have watched wizards, and I think that part of the reason why warlocks die so often is that the root and nuke method doesn't work for us as well as it does for them.  Personally, I find the higher I get the worse my root spells are, so I rarely use them. A wizard's root spells seem to "stick" better and not break as easily.</p><p>On a happier note, once you get Netheros at 48, you'll die a lot less! I cast that first, and although it's just a DoT with a fun look, I find that my little nightblood keeps mobs occupied long enough for me to do some serious casting. If the mobs even get around to hitting me, they are nearly dead anyway and I just use Soul Flay to finish them off. </p>

<div></div><p>Eh, I like to think I am at least competent, but I die all the time. My Warlock has probably the worst KVD ratio of all my toons, but then again, he has easily the most total kills, so I kind of consider it a wash. It does get a little frustrating at times, I admit, but if you accept death as inevitable, you are pleasantly surprised when you have a good night.</p><p>:smileyvery-happy:</p>
