Is there any real point in upgrading Null Caress? I've only cast it a couple times. The first one teleported the mob an amazing FIVE (yes FIVE) feet to the right. The second time, it teleported the mob further away, into a pack of mobs which all aggro'd and came back with the original. I don't cast this anymore....

<div></div>actually there is, the slow component. At adept 3 it slows for 91% and master 1 is over 100% (i guess they dont move???). So the teleport is ok but the slow is the big stat. Getting swarmed? Cast it and then move away and root or hit devestation or turn, break and run. I admit I dont cast it much either but it is a nice oh s**t spell. Of course there are several other spells I dont cast either like the debuff. Personally I'd rather spend that time nuking unless im in a raid situation and i load up on nil crystals hitting trash otherwise I never use either of those. Come to think of it, I havent cast Netheros in a while either...

<div></div><p>The only real use I get out of Null Caress is in duels or making people confused otherwise.</p><p>Since mobs still hit you and it takes a 2 second cast, it's very unreliable. I've only successfully used it once (on a rooted mob) to save myself.</p>

Why does the Warlock FAQ recommend upgrading Curse of Emptiness? I guess I do not understand why anyone would want to upgrade this spell.<div></div>

<div>Remember back before Netherous Realm went live and it was called Nether Regions, I had so many good jokes lined up but alas i can not use them now.</div>

<div><span><blockquote><hr>Belash wrote:Why does the Warlock FAQ recommend upgrading Curse of Emptiness? I guess I do not understand why anyone would want to upgrade this spell.<div></div><hr></blockquote>Because it used to be different, the warlock FAQ is outdated.</span></div>
<div></div>I actually use this spell fairly often. Albeit the relocation can be right on top of you at times, it has allowed me plenty of breathing room to get an extra root off or an extra dot in place before the mob(s) snap out of the slow funk.
