ok...well... I have a 60 zerker... Bored.. As most of you other 60's.So.. I rolled a "Wizard"... at the last moment.. I changed to a warlock.  ... Well, I'm 27 now... and well.. You know what? If you guys think "WE" are nerfed.. omg.My "equal" leveled zerker could NEEEEVVER solo anything close to what my little caster can... AND when I do get agro (as a caster).. a few seconds later... boom dead.Don't get me wrong-- I want the class to be powerful, and playing it "post" nerf-- lemme tell u "girls".. its still uber.If you're truely compainining... play a tank class and come back and post.<div></div>

<DIV>I myself have guardian, dirge, paladin, and conjuror are my alts aside from my 60 Warlock.  Realy though your comparing apples and oranges no one is upset about our ability to solo.  Our concerns come from area's of the game you have yet to experience as a Warlock, ie raid dps and utility issues.  When youve made it to 60 then you can come here and tell us how wrong we all are. </DIV>

In ever MMORPG classes with root have always had an upper hand on soloing mobs others could not. If you had picked a Wizard you would be asking them the same thing. In fact some say a Necro can solo harder stuff then a Warlock/Wizard. I have heard of Necro's soloing ythe Arena on Very Hard without breaking a sweat. Does it meen the need to be nerfed? No, Devs must know someone would have that solo ability since it's a solo instance.<div></div>

Well.. try this:  Pick a Mob thats 2 levels LOWER than you (in my case it would be a 58 and a 25)... My warlock (and yes, it uses all my power and even then touch and go) can solo a 25^^^ ... My 60 zerker ABSOLUTELY CANNOT solo a 58^^^ mob.  I have problems with 49^^^'s and pretty much (unless I get lucky) cannot kill a 50^^^.... and I'm using the Argent Bastardsword on the Zerker with a damage rating of 72 or so... and he's in full cobalt, w/fabled misc gear...  My warlock is in poopy gear. So, as the above poster said, talk to me when your zerker is lvl 60 about soloing tripple and double up-arrow mobs.<div></div>

You never said what mobs you were fighting in the first place ... as for heroic encounters, it is true that warlocks can solo heroics by rooting them ... The fact is, you say we whine, but where do you see a whine post ? And I can say the same to you, get your warlock to 60 go raid and then come back ... Cause on raids warlocks have huge troubles on a point of view of agro and single target dps. <div></div>

And all this is provided I got room to run (to take advantage of devestation's stun). Give me a confined area and I'm as good as dead on anything 48^^^ and up. So I stick to the harpies. When soloing on my Guardian (who has a tenth of the DPS of a Zerker) adds are nothing more than an inconvinience. With my Warlock adds mean death. Root breaks = Death. Too many stuns/fizzles/interupts = death. I kill faster on my Warlock, no doubt. I also die faster.

I know a few Mages L60 wearing grey items even though they have tons of plat in the bank. Why? Cause it's all about INT for a mage.</span></div>

<div>INT is your problem, at 49, you should have much higher INT.  At 49, your INT cap is 363 or so.  This means that you are at about 2/3rds of your max power, and max damage.</div>

<div></div><p>Is your cloth armor crafted or mob loot?</p><p>Until T6 tailor made crafted armor is generally horrible for INT, save for a few pieces.  Mob/quest loot is much better, and can generally be worn at lvl x5 or x8.  You should try to get gear with INT in every slot.  Even if it is a few tiers back.  There are not many robes with INT, but there are a few.  If I recall there is one that drops in EF.  Check your items to see which have INT and which do not.  You can also use the EQ2IDB to see what items are out there, then look up how to get them.  Don't rely on the broker as your only source.  The eq2idb can be downloaded at eq2idb.com, and it is continually updating.  It is very handy.</p><p>Of course you are at a point where you might hold off on upgrading till 50, but you can start planning ahead.  At 50 you can get the T6 legendary crafted cambric robe, and pants, and the legendary crafted producers hat, at 20 INT each, if I recall, the legendary shoulders are 14 INT as well.  74 INT off of 4 pieces is not bad.  Couple that with 2 T6 INT hex dolls and 2 Pearl  Orb (all +13 INT each) for a total of 126 INT off 8 slots.  2 Pearl rings (one being xxx of intelligence) each with +9 and the buff gives +22 for an additional 40 INT.  So you are up to 166 INT on 10 slots, unless you already have something better in those slots.</p>
