Netherous Realm: Proc

I was hoping to get some help with using netherous realm. I received this spell post disease conversion to a few of our nukes. To date, every time I attempt to proc netherous realm using aoe spells, dark nebula is the only spell that seems to proc it. Unlike our other aoe proc, boundless fury doesn't seem to proc it, devastation doesn't proc it, and disease damage doesn't proc it. Are we limited, aoe speaking, to dark nebula in its procs? Because 1 time every 12 seconds doesn't entice me to use this spell very frequently. Is there something I'm missing? <div></div>

Exactly.  It would be very nice if netherous realm processed on poison and disease spells, but its unlikely they will change it to such any time soon [if ever]. <div></div>

I would be happy if just poison spells proc'd it. AKA, boundless fury and devastation (just the first tick, of course). Boundless fury already procs the chaotic maelstrom line... why the heck does it not proc netherous realm? as it is, it costs more power than damage it adds  imo.... <div></div>

So in other words, 2 of our 3 ancint spells are useless.  What a waste of pearls. It would be nice if they were made into something like.... an AOE damage like the wizards get, or perhaps a hate reducer buff would be nice... This is so dumb. I was really looking forward to these spells and I never use them. <div></div>

So you find Nil absolution procs it, despite that it's disease now? I haven't been able to see a proc from that. If i could i would agree this spell is usefull.  I didn't know about the broodlings i will try that as well and see if they will help proc the spell. <div></div>

So it would be a nice change, imo, if the spell cold be proc'd by A. boundless fury and devastastion or B. Disease spells as well. I typically can only proc it twice if i'm AOE'ing.. it would be a nice damage boost if I could proc it more than once or twice. <div></div>

What makes it proc is not as important as changing the pets to auto-run into the mobs or stop the re-procing of new broodlings before they even cast once. Every other classes temp pets do not have that problem. In anything other than close range soloing the spell is worthless. X <div></div>
