Null carress

<div></div>Hi everyone i'm about to reach lv 56 and since the ancient spells are now available at adept 1 i want to know if there is a difference between null carress adpet 1 and 3, is it worth spending a pearl/vanadium for it? I also raid so if ne raiding warlock could tell me if they use that spell at all in raid situation that would be great. Thks <div></div>

<DIV>honestly the only time i ever used this spell during a raid was when i hit the wrong button...meant to hit one spell but hit null caress....lets just say teleporting Vox throws the entire raid off  >_>    <_<</DIV>

hehe lol thanks i thought so <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> teleporting the mob when the MT is rooted (using inflamming defense if its a guardian) didnt sound a great idea at all. I'm sure my raid leader (who is the MT for instance) would appreciate that haha <div></div>

Uses for this spell in raiding DEFINTLY exist, but lets say there very rare, and that time when it would have been the perfect spell to cast to prevent a wipe, you sure as hell wernt thinking about using this spell the ONLY time you ever should. Just for an example when this spell might be a good idea to cast, your standing near the healers and the mob aggro wipes right before its about to do a really strong aoe, as its running towards your direction while the MT is rooted, AT this time it would be a good idea to use this spell in a raid, other than that youll be hard pressed to find a real use for it while raiding. <div></div>

I believe the difference is in the percentage of the slow effect after the initial stun. I have it at adept 3 and it slows the target(s) by 91%. I have never tried to use it in a raid since it doesn’t affect epics. I generally don’t use it in groups either because it scatters the mobs in all different directions which can really [Removed for Content] of the MT. I use it occasionally when solo and once and a while it helps. Comments on Null Caress (I only use it once and a while so some stuff might have changed. If anyone has any different experiences please post them) 1) Teleports mob(s) to random distances away from you. It seems that the majority of the time it teleports it right on top of you. Since it immediately stuns (unless it is resisted) you have time to move away. The stun/slow makes it easy to get a short distance away and root/nuke. It is an out of encounter AOE so if you are surrounded by mobs there is no guarantee on which ones it will teleport. I used it one time when I first got level 55 and pulled agro from everything around me including friendly stuff. 2) The only time you really benefit from it is if you are in a jam. The problem with that is if you are getting stunned you will not be able to cast. Also 2 seconds of taking damage while you are casting it is still plenty of time to get killed. Maybe if they made the effect instantaneous and usable while stunned it would make it more useful. 3) It would be nice if it always teleported the mob(s) a short distance away and all in the same location. Scattering a multi mob encounter often complicates things. 4) Honestly I would have rather gotten another AOE instead of null caress. I only use it occasionally and most of the time it doesn’t make the difference between living or dying.

Ok Null Caress DOES affect epics, the part that does not is the STUN and SLOW but it will teleport mobs. <div></div>

With the servers being down i can't comment on the % for null carress adept 1 i use an adept 3 version tho have an adept 1 in the bank i believe the slow on it was around 60%

This spell is great.. for [Removed for Content] off your tank. I use it regularly) /flip da bird at Premem. If my tank is pulling to slow. I will TP a mob and hope it lands in a new set of social mobs, to speed things up.0
