<DIV><IMG src="http://www.malice-guild.com/phpbb/files/eq2_000003_159.jpg"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>after the upgrade is kind of a kick in the nuts as most of us would never use a 2 hander especially after a extremely difficult encounter as Anuk Godking. if they added a few stats to it i may use this item as it seems to be the prismatic 2.0 of the expansion.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Question is would you use this or keep a one hander and a secondary? and why?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>me depending on the situation i may use it for the extra power regen if i dont have a coercer or bard in the group</DIV>

I don't raid, so I don't know how resists typically are when fully raidbuffed, but some resists on it would be nice. But that is a nice item! Maybe equip it situationally?

I would use it and move my (fabled) secondary to the ranged slot, since i dont have a good one there atm. The proc should work on spells though, its useless now.

A one hander would have been preferred, but the real question is why do they keep placing effects on weapons obviously intended for Mages that require you to melee? Wouldn't a small proc every time a spell hits, like Corrupt Gift, be more appropriate for our gear?

If and when a decent tier 6 fabled secondary drops... the peacock 2 hander will be useless.  Even with a tier 5 secondary you are getting only a hp upgrade and 2 power regen for the most part. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Horrible reward. </DIV>

<DIV>With the 14 in combat regen and the massive stats...I would wear this all day long. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*Does anyone have a screenie of it equipped? It had BETTER look tight*</DIV>

Compared to the combo of Prismatic Rod and Pearl Orb, I'll pass on this one. The +105 health is nice, the useless melee proc is doubled, and some extra AGI and STA. +1 INT and +2 per tick in-combat, /yawn. On the other hand, you lose 14 WIS, 14 pwr, +3 Disruption, +2 Subjugation, all of the extra resists of the orb. Not enough good for me. Backup gear at best. <div></div>

<DIV>Aye just tone down the stats and make it a one hander or buff them up more with a much better regen of maybe 18 or 20 then I would use it as a 2 hander.  Specially if the thing looks cool equipped.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Max122 on <span class=date_text>11-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:16 PM</span>

Quit complaining people.... this item definitely deserves serious consideration...  as you may note, not everyone can garner timely or even effective co-player support for getting their Prismatic weapon.  Not everyone spends their time digging up rares or farming gold.  I don't see myself using this weapon during 100% of battles but I can imagine many who would. Would this make soloing or farming easier?  For me, in certain situations, I most definitely think so.  In fact, now I have a motive to run through Peacock Quest. p.s. This is only the first expansion pack, who says there needs to right away be a Prismatic 2.0?  Are you so easily bored?  Have you even seen the newest fabled gear out there? <div></div>

<div></div>I think the idea of a mage using a two handed staff is pretty cool and in line with mage lore. Didnt they say these items were being looked at? We havent goten ours yet(duh) buy it would be pretty cool if like you guys said had better stats. Do you know if this pic is of befor or after revamp? Or have they not yet revamped the clubs gear? Oh yeah and BTW whats with the melee procs? <div></div><p>Message Edited by Beghard on <span class=date_text>11-18-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:32 PM</span>

A 2hander staff is cheaper to repair than primary and secondary items though hehe, and is a nice different look holding a staff for a change (When was the last time you saw a mage holding a staff in the game?). Again how does this baby look? As that is the most important thing. Anyone got a pic of them holding it? <div></div>

If you are under the impression it doesn't take "timely or even effective co-player support" like prismatic, you are in for a surprise. Have I seen the latest Fabled gear out there?.............. Yes I have. Not sure what <i>you</i> are getting, but it's predominantly junk for the majority. Check out the Combat and Encounters area. Thread upon thread discussing the craptastic Fabled stuff that is dropping.........<u>.if</u> you can get Metal to drop at all. </span><div></div>

so are mt's supposed to suffer the drawbacks of either gettin a 2hander so no shield or the 1 hander with no sta? sucks for them.  I think it should be made into 1 hander so they can make another huge quest to get the Ultimate 2ndary book of uber powa 8P

- Mages who have completed the Peacock series of quests can now convert their reward between a one-handed and two-handed weapon by examining their weapon. This was in the update from december 15, anyone knows the stats of the 1H weapon? Baltazarr lv 60 warlock of Saviours on Buthcherblock <div></div>

<P>They need to add some stats to this. Currently you get more power, added health, and 2 more power regen --but still losing 5 int (no big deal) and that nasty +3 disruption and +2 subjugation. The proc isn't even a factor in my eyes.</P> <P>They need a mage only reward and need to at least match the +disruption. I like the idea of a mage using a 2h weapon because it fits with how i picture a normal mage. But to make that staff useable they would need more like 50int and 15-20 in combat power regen and have it look uber. Not to mention prismatic is really easy to get now. You could do the entire prismatic quest line in the time it takes to kill that godking (from the sounds of it)

<div>OK, this weapon sux. Prismatic is better. The devs need to look at the stats compared to the T5 prismatic. I'm not asking for alot, just a slight increase. The fact that it does not have any disruption is HUGE to me. Not worth getting if you have prismatic.</div><div> </div><div>Lerxt</div>
