When not camped, Huuptics along the beach in the Feerott spawn fairly quickly, give decent exp/loot and have a chance at dropping the Robe of the Invoker quest starter. For a while there, they dropped 2 1/2g rings pretty often and I was able to farm a lil money, gain exp, and get the quest starter the day before they greyed out to me. If you're feeling a little more daring, venture deeper into the Feerott for higher conned mobs. Other than the Feerott, I'm guessing Nightbloods in EL will still pose a challenge to you, while yielding decent exp/loot.

Or, if you can gather a group, farm the mobs outside the Obelisk of Lost Souls, while hoping for the access mobs to spawn. The access quest to the actual obelisk, itself, can be found just inside the zone-in from the skelly laying on the ground. You'll either need access to the tower or need to know someone with access in order to complete two fairly important quests later on--'Tarton's Wheel' (nice held item with hate reduction) and 'To Speak as a Dragon.'

Course, there's always Splitpaw (assuming you purchased it). Zone's nice due to the mobs scaling to your level. You won't be doing Harclave's everyday after LU#16, though :smileytongue:.

These are just a few I could think of in the couple minutes I had to reply. I'll edit later when I can think of more spots appropriate to your level.

Take it easy,

Kairos

58 Warlock/56 Provo

Unrest/Eternal Shadows

Message Edited by hoosierdaddy on 11-09-2005 06:30 AM

Yeah, while I wouldn't get your hopes up at finding a ROI starter in Feerrott, the chance of finding one is definitly a bonus to hunting there. Do the Huuptics until they are crap xp, then move into the zone. The lizardmen drop the starter as well.. I got mine off one of the groups near the docks.

Also while in Feerrott, be sure to harvest roots and rocks. Ruby jewelry is nice, and you should defintily get a few pieces of rare tailor made armor if you're able to get some roots. Some items have nice INT.

When you hit 40, start trying to work on Golden Efreeti Boots. Seeing lvl 50s who haven't done those is really sad since they're such an awesome caster item at that level =)

Thanks for the info...very much appreciated!

I'll always cross my fingers that I'll get the RoI either by rock spawn or drop (never liked camping in EQ Live and don't like it in EQ2). Im here for the fun and the friends. I'm pretty much casual gamer and do what I can when I can.

GEB's are definately on the list once I hit 40.

Again, thanks for the replys and I look forward to any additional input others may have.

At 37 you can do the caster heroic groups of lizards right inside, and right, of feerot zone. There are also solo groups there. Both are wonderful exper at 36-40.Pick up one partner to do the initial pull and it goes much faster and is even better.

if you cant get the ROI yet raid once in awhile like Drayek and such the Ancient Rollosian Gown isnt a bad choice either.

Beach mobs in LS might also be a good spot. But they are camped a lot by people starting GEB's.
