Curious about drops while soloing.

<DIV>I am curious about a phenomenon that I noticed while soloing.  I spend about half my time hunting solo.  I conservatively estimate that I have gotten at least 300 adept I drops while solo.  Not a single one was a warlock (or sorcerer or mage) spell.  If you assume random drops, and a 1/24 chance of getting a spell in my subclass, the odds of this happening are over 350,000 to one against.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is all the more surprising since I think there is no shortage of warlock adepts dropping.  I recently bought the all of the level 45-50 adept I's dirt cheap on the broker.  There were heaps of them available.  Whatever the problem might be, it does not hurt my ability to play.  It is just a matter of fun.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I asked on the general combat arts/spells board if anyone has ever gotten an adept I in their class while soloing, and several people said they have gotten a few, and others said never.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm wondering if it is a warlock thing.  So...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Have you ever gotten a Warlock Adept I while soloing with your warlock?</DIV>

drops are zone related. Every zone has certain drops. And yes in some zones I have alot of warlocks drops compared to other zones, <div></div>

sandcrawlers in PoF dropped alot of adepts for me and living tombs where the named tree is dropped alot too. For the rest I dont realy remember. I think first floor of rujak also has some drops. <div></div>

<P>I've noticed the same thing.  I'd almost go so far as to say that the chances for a group (1 or more people) to see a particular class's spells drop is severely diminished by a member of that class being in the group.  I did Nek castle the other night and I only recall having to ask if a spell was needed by a group member twice (neither one was).  We had 5 people of different classes in the group and I'd say at least 15 adept 1's dropped (I got 4 or 5 myself, even 1 duplicate), and of course, not a single one was a warlock spell.  With 1/3 of the classes represented, we should have seen 5+ spells drop that matched a class in the group.</P> <P>I'm pretty sure that the number of warlock adepts I've seen while playing my warlock solo is 3 or less (not only counting the ones I needed), and I'm positive I haven't seen more than 5 drop solo or grouped.  Oh, and my warlock is level 40, and most of my play time has been solo.  I'm sure I haven't seen 300 books drop while solo, but I've seen at least 50-60.  There are 16 classes (sub-classes, whatever), so I'm probably about even for chance to drop while solo (3/50 is very close to 1/16).  It definitely <EM>feels</EM> like I never see any, but I probably don't see 16 adepts drop in a week of solo play.</P> <DIV>I tried to be conservative in my estimations...</DIV>

<P>I solo alot and I have looted at least 4 warlock adepts in the upper tunnels of SP sadly I had already bought them so a young warlock in my guild recived them. All were in the level 40 -49 range.</P> <P> </P>
