There is no setting to make the graphics of bony grasp go away. The best thing you can do, is look the other way when you cast that spell. So you don't see the graphics from it. Leey 60 Warlock Runnyeye

Actualy on extreme setting you get no magic effects. And I think there is a dircet option to remove spell effects.

You can also play with settings to get cutom ones, particales and such.It will lead to great graphics with good performence.

Take an hour playing with it on grey mobs to find out your best settings.

Yea when I first got this spell many moons ago I tryed my hardest to get the option to remove that lagfest and I never found anything. I just look up or turn away from the spell graphic when it lands and turn right back fast to avoid it. Works quite well :smileyhappy:

Good luck.

BG doesn't lag on me as long as I have more than 1gb of RAM in a machine.
I too have a lot of lag, but my son's machine does not. It is a Dell Dimension, with a 256 mB Video card (can't remember which one). Mine is a AMD, with a nVidia 128 mB card. Does the video RAM seem to make a difference. The other graphics for warlocks don't cause lag. I have grouped with healers that have spells that cause lag, especially the wards or group heals.

Has anyone send /feedback to SOE about this issue? Seems to me that there should be something that can be done that fixes it.

I didnt know this spell lagged people out, I play on Balanced or High Quaility depending on the zone and usually dont have any lag. I have 256meg video card and 2gigs of ram tho. I would think if you put settings on High performance or very High perforfmance you would be alright. If not try to custimize spells in the graphics options.
