Warlock, Summoner, and Enchanter is a new but incrediably amazing trio that i would like all the warlock community to know about. I dont know how many others have found out about this awsome trio as im the only warlock that i know that has used it. I made 20 xp/hr at lvl 58 with this trio wihtout any deaths, which btw is rare for me. Now this trio has many differnt play styles from very very fast paced to slow and steady and anywhere inbetween, the only limitation on the potensioal of this trio is your skill, as it can truly test your abilitys. No matter what the style you use, each of the classes plays a defined role, which may surprize many. The roles are, warlock - the shield, summoner - the sword, enchanter - the life. Your main job as a warlock in this group is to prevent the mobs your fighting from being able to fight back while your attacking them. The summoner is going to be your primary dps, they are going to provide the most consisent and safest dps of the three. Now finnaly the enchanter, without them the group becomes extremly dangerous because of adds and boring because of downtime, they also provide important defence agisnt spell casters, and there dps and extra stuns and roots fill in the gaps where you as the warlock cant keep up, without the enchanter the very life of the group dies and it becomes montonomos. This trio can take on ANY yellow con heroic content in the game post 50 depending on the skill and quaility lvl of the equipment of the group. A healer can be a nice addition but without a question not required, and a healer really tends to remove the edge of your seat thrill this group can be at times. If anyone else has any amazing class combinations that bring back the excitment that this game once had for me i would love to know.

Warlock and Ranger. This duo is pure AE domination. AE roots from both classes. Ranger traps ftw! Fun little duo as well.

I shelved my trio of 53 guardian, 53 troub, and 53 inquis. Combat update really screwed them up and made the casters the most awesome players in the game. So I made a new trio, thats a 32 necromancer, 32 warlock, and 32 wizard now. Unstoppable trio. Group mobs drop to our AEs in seconds. Single heroics drop in seconds also. This trio works very well. Will be glad when they hit 50s so i can really see how well they will shine

The amazing trio = Warlock/Warlock/Warlock!

Seriously, why waste spots in groups for lesser classes?

If there were 3 warlocks why the hell would you want to take on a single target?

Go to living tombs or silent city and burn the hell out of anything grouped. You can pretty much keep a group permanently stunned/stifled between you (not that you'd need to, 3 lots of devastation will drop them quick).

That would be utter domination.

Why couldnt 3 Warlocks take down a single target? idk. We have on par DPS on single target heroic mobs as those classes you mentioned, but yea... LT and SC group heroics would get owned with 3 warlocks. I couldnt imagine a better trio for those places. Imagine 3 Dark nebulas then 3 Nil absolutions going off at once. That right there would outright kill a group of 5 non tiers... easily. Going with that thought, you could all cycle Netherous Realm (Assuming you were all 58+) and keep it up pretty much constantly.

Message Edited by Kalel22 on 10-27-2005 07:54 AM

3 warlock buffs don't stack. all the buffs from warlock, wizard, and necro stack.

I was partially joking about 3 warlocks, but it would work very well. Mob would be permanently stunned, stifled or pacified. Our roots hold better. Our single target DPS isn't horribly less than a wizard. It's fairly on par.

Post 50, I'd have to say that warlock, pally; warlock, druid; warlock, chanter are best duo's.

Trio's I'd go for pally, wizard, warlock or warlock, summoner, chanter.

I play a shadowknight/warlock duo. Sk can hold aggro with aoe taunt/debuff that fits a warlock while the warlock does the dps. The shadowknight is able to lifetap to keep his health up and mobs drop fast. It's a combo that fits well into a group too. I used to duo SK/defiler but the dps was lacking.

Amazing trio : Warlock / Illusionist / Troub Warlock for dps and roots if needed Illusionist for dps, to lock down the mob, root, power regen and extra proc Troubadour for disonante note, dps, evac, extra power regen, extra health regen, mez/charm and evac There is almost no risk in dying with all the backups you have. The dps is great and the xp is very good also then, The Illusionist lockdown allows you to kill any named. All other combinations miss something to be efficient on all kind of encounters.

I did Warlock, Necro, Brigand from 50-60. My wife is a 60 Necro now, i'm a 60 WL, and our buddy is a 60 Brigand. Worked very well. Dps was insane...the necro can toss the occasional heal..and brigand tanks.

I was in a full group in PF the other day. 48 Paladin for tank, 44 Swashie, 50 Assassin, 48 Templar, and me at 50 Warlock and a 51 warlock also. Healer had to leave. The 5 of us remaining still managed over 20% an hour with no healer at all. Between us 2 'locks and the Swashie we could pretty much perma-stun the mobs. The tank was taking giants of white and yellow con to himself and coming out of the battle still in green HP, so we started chain-pulling, even, and probably could have gone faster than we did, but we were being cautious. So. . .2 warlocks are an amazing asset to a group. A 3rd would have been very nice.

I actually have 2 sick Trios i do. The first is a Warden, Conj, Necro/Bruiser. We destroy RE and were all level 40. the second, proably the better, is a Warlock, SK, Fury. I cant even begin to explain how uber this trio is =)

I always two box. And nothing in my MMORPG history has shown to be any better than two (or three) nukers. No need to tank. No need to heal. Just kill the mobs. I got a pair of Sorcerers up to 16th (I think) about 6 months ago before I quit. Im back now, and am deciding between two Wizards or two Warlocks. Just when I decided to go wizards for two evacs - if one is being wacked on, the other can evac, and vice versa - I get more cool stories about Warlock AOE domination. Now Im not sure again! Granted, I only play an hour a night if Im lucky, so I will never see 50th in all likelyhood. So maybe just going Wizard would be the best overall. Mal
