In my opinion, the Adept III is probably the best choice. More INT is always good, of course, but you will see the greatest impact in upgrading one of your main spells to Adept III, I think.

<DIV>Assuming that you love your Warlock and being a GOD of damage....you took Negative Absolution at 24 for your Master II. Roots at Adept 3 are a waste. Dont waste a rare on that. The only thing it upgrades is the chance that it will last the full duration. NOT the chance it will break. Use the rare on whichever spell you didnt pick as your Master 2 choice at 24 (Dark Distortion or Negative Absolution)

<P>At lower levels, I had most of my roots at app IV or adept I and I had no trouble either landing them or with them breaking.  I don't feel that roots were a big deal.</P> <P>On the other hand you really do need to kill a mob before your power runs out.  Roots take a lot of power and if your nuke isn't upgraded, then it also is less mana efficient than it could be.</P> <P>The basic rule of thumb is to upgrade the spells you use most combined with their usefulness / bonus to upgrade.  (Of course, you also have to be wary as to not overlook any spell).  In general, your Direct Damage spells get the most use if you solo and your AE's the most use if you group.  This is usually followed by DoT, your poison debuff, and power conversions.  </P>

I never have upgraded past Adept 1 ANY of my roots. I never had a single problem with them being resisted. Sure once in a while it will get resisted on a high lvl mob but that has NOTHING to do with the quality of the spell.

<P>Look Kalabus not everyone leveling up on low greens heroic mobs that of course do not resist to adept 1.... Some of warlocks leveled on yellow-orange conned solo-packs mob. </P> <P>At lvl 51 I came to PoF and tried to do harpies - got my [Removed for Content] handled to me many time for 1 simple reason - root did not stick on 1 or 2 mobs. Imagine that lol - you rooting pack of 2-3 mob and Bony grasp stick on 1-2 of em.  At first I said screw it - kiting rules and started kite packs of harpies with Devastation then run for 4 tics then Dark Nebula then Nil Abs but it was still pushing (obviously lvl 51 person have not much chances vs. lvl 55-56 mobs because of level). Well wise person suggested me upgrade Bony to Adept 3 and see myself what happend.... Rubies are cheap I said what the hell and upgraded Bony grasp.... That was hell a change - I never seen since then any resist on INITIAL cast. Root was still not very stable but at least I got varant that then I am rooting yellow-orange cons I have ZERO problem. Heck at lvl 56 I was able root both Abizel pets w/o any resists (orange conned at that time)</P>

So you assume more things eh Tan? I never upgraded Skeletal past Ad1 and I was rooting yellow heroic groups and soloing the whole group without resists (Seargent Dozer) But your right man.. I xped on all green heroics. You were getting owned by Harpies because you arent very good at playing your warlock. Nothing more.

You would have to be because T6 crafted is really only better for mitigation tanks (if its that much better at all) I would enjoy seeing any piece of T6 crafted that is better then T5 fabled in your archtype. From boss mob? lol of course not, from minions trash after I get buffs from other classes? - sure thing it will help me more then gimpy FT7 with raid power regeneration already at cap (thanks to coercers). Please spare me crap that not every guild have 4 coercer - you dont need that many - coercer only need for DPS group for crack that's all <DIV>Actually I need correct myself - crushing resistance only on Protection, Ishva have +2 disruption (unfortunally absolutely useless atm)</DIV>
