Fluff spells

I know many will complain that our other spells need more fixin than useless fluff, but I don't care. I like my spells and these fluff ones [Removed for Content] me off. They are supposed to be fun, and yet I get no enjoyment from them at all. Specifically, I just got my frog familiar. Ok, it takes a freakin millenia to cast, I can live with that...at least unti I realise I HAVE TO RECAST IT WHEN I ZONE! What the hell?? What's the point? I was looking forward to hitting 30 just for this spell, and I've used it once because it's a pain to cast. It doesn't do anything but sit there and entertain me, so why do I lose it all the time? It's not like I can control it. It has no beneficial use. At least let me keep it on 24/7/365 regardless of anything (except death). That goes for Curse of the Toad too. Although it's fairly quick to kick off so I don't mind frogging up each time I zone. However, I want a group option for this spell. Through a glitch before it was always on, I used to be able to turn a whole group into frogs, and it was the funniest thing ever...watching 6 frogs rip a giant to shreds. But noooooooooooooo, that was fun and we all know by now, EQ2 isn't supposed to be fun. So my curse got nerfed...er fixed. Bah. Gimme a group frog curse, and always on frog/bat/whatever pet. Because not only is a group of 6 frogs fun, but a 7th frog Commander is funner...er more fun. While the post is more whimsical, I am being serious. Either reduce the cast time on our fluff spell frog, or make it permacast. Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top. If I have to bribe the dev resposible to make a change like this, I will. I swear it on my frog's soul. And can I have a "Master of Frogs" suffix? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Hot [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] people will find ANYTHING to complain about.  You are not a pet class, be glad you get any pets at all.  Warlocks do not get a group illusion.  Fluff pets are (IMO) stupid and take up too much screen space and I have to tab through them.  PAIN IN THE [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], just like people who whine about fluff spells. <div></div>

So it's ok for you to complain about other people complaining but it's not ok for me to complain? Also, I was posting merely to point my personal frustration, and don't expect anyone to share my view. I also did so in what I thought was a lighthearted way. And how many times do I have to say, I realise they aren't meant to do anything but look pretty, as in they aren't a "pet" like I can command it to tank for me. Your tone, assuming I'm ungrateful to have pets, is completely uncalled for. I take great offense to your personal attack over something I don't care if they fix or not. You're getting far to hot headed over this when I'm trying to bring some entertainment back to this board, which I agree, has been far too negative lately. I would love to let this just degenerate into WW3 and fill my posts with swears just to express how angry I am with you, but I won't and just hope you retract your blatant and meaningless attack. Why would I apologize?  Pets are stupid.  Try tabbing through 20 different pets in a crowded area (or non crowded for that matter), or having F8 be worthless because the closest target is a Mushroom that does nothing, its not fun.  Everyone who plays this game has /hide on now too, so our illusions can pretty much only be cast on ourselves, because they dont change the image of group members.  <div></div>

Yep. Usually assisting the tank on a raid. I didnt think you were talking about a bunch of pets you had to tab through in a group situation idk.
