Aura of Darkness...not lasting 20 seconds....

Before, I could cast that, then my group null absolution for a big bang, noxious bolt, then nil distortion....or nxious bolt, then nil distort then flashfreexe. now, i'm lucky if i get off one spel under AoD. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>what gives???</DIV>

It procs off of any magic spell, for example Ice comet or dissonant note.  When I cast it in groups it usually lasts around 10 seconds max.  Are you talking group or solo?  I have noticed no change. <div></div>

Its because others can proc it too <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Which is really nice during raids, for two things. Not so much aggro for you, and when you are low on power, others can trigger it too before timer runs out<div></div>

okay, but shouldn't it not matter who else is proc-ing it, but the length of time?? itsstill supposed to last 20 seconds....not "20 seconds OR X number of procs".....right??

The way I understood it is that it will last 20 seconds and proc 3 times. Once it procs 3 times it expires. Meaning it could last for all of 2 or 3 seconds depending on if you were grouped with a few nukers or someone finished off an HO (which makes it proc twice in succession if it was a damage HO)

<P>Ah. i see. okay I understand now. </P> <P>i'm usually using it in combo with a heroic opportuniy when alone or duoing. in the big group today, it was cast and then gone. gotcha. </P>
