<DIV>I saw some post saying that spell quality will now effect resist more. </DIV> <DIV>Exp: +59% to land for master1.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But does spell lvl comes into play?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Exp:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Same mage casting on the same mob. Lvl 51.</DIV> <DIV>One time he cast Dark Distortion master1.</DIV> <DIV>One time he cast Null Nidsdotrion apr3.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What have a higher chance to be resisted?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I ask this because low lvl master nukes became pretty cheap and if spell lvl dont come into effect it might be good to save some for mobs with high resistance.</DIV> <DIV>(althought the chance between master and ad3 is too small IMO)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for you reply.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>- All hostile (non-melee) spells now have a chance of being resisted outright.<BR>- Damage spells have a lower chance of being resisted than other types of spells.<BR>- The chance to resist is based on the target's resistance to the spell's damage type, the skill level of the player's casting technique used by the spell (Ministration, Ordination, etc.), and spell quality (Apprentice II, Adept I, etc.).<BR></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The above was from one of the latest beta patch notes, and as far as I can tell spell level has no factor currently. And below is a chart of how spell quality affected "some" spells, please note these values was removed from spell delves now on beta server and did not display on all spells but select ones:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>App 1 Resist chance increased by 20%<BR>App 2 Resist chance increased by 10%<BR>App 3 No bonus No Penalty<BR>App 4 9% less chance to be resisted<BR>Adept 1 19% less chance to be resisted<BR>Adept 3 39% less chance to be resisted<BR>Master 1 59% less chance to be resisted<BR>Master 2 69% less chance to be resisted<BR>Master 3 79% less chance to be resisted<BR></DIV><p>Message Edited by Arrowheart on <span class=date_text>09-06-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:07 AM</span>
