ok.....now beafore the vamp...it was considered that a warlocks only concern was getting int. WAY up there. but now that after the vamp wis. will effect resists and that stats will play a more vital character role what would be a good stat line up. i figured an int. of around 180 - 190 and a wisdom of around 70-80. now as far as str i dont need much but sta. and agitlity would be a big help. now what would all of you say is a good stat line up mine is str.35 sta.45 agi 62 int 190 wis 75. well hopefully after vamp it will be a good line up <div></div>

What level are you?  I have a set of agility/sta gear that I wear while soloing or when I know I'm going to get aggro, which brings me up to about 54% avoidance (while still having about 3300power).  I also have int gear, I can buff up to around 360int solo.  In a raid I easily reach 425 pretty much every time. <div></div>

The effect of stats has been made so minor that you might as well fight naked in group situations. Soloing you do need the armor mitigation, but nothing else is that important. The only point of raiding for mages/priests is going to be getting Master scrolls... equipment won't be worth spending the raid points on.</DIV>

For a short time in beta it actually did something noticeable, but they have taken most of that away and what remains (currently) is still not worth the trouble. Making a huge, huge effort (raiding for months) to get say 80 more INT from Fabled will make less than 5% difference to your damage output. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> WIS is agreed to be totally useless to mages, in live. In beta, there is no sign that this has changed.</DIV>

<DIV>Yeah?  So what?  Stats are as near to meaningless right now on beta as they can possibly be. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Str:  Pointless in live, pointless in beta for us.</DIV> <DIV>Sta:  Increase hps, you get a couple points of hp per stamina at level 50, nearly worthless.</DIV> <DIV>Agi:  Helps to avoid being hit, it takes literally hundreds to make a difference now, useless.</DIV> <DIV>Int:  Increase dmg?  400int vs 200int?  Increase of dmg by 5.4%; this is for expanding power pool just like live.</DIV> <DIV>Wis:  Supposedly helps you resist magical attacks.  If it is a mirror of how INT increases magical dmg, I'd say it's a joke now too.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Used to we could argue that +agi was useful; after I hit 200int I began working on that stat, as you could see an instant jump in your %avoidance, mine's over 50% on live unbuffed.  On beta, it take a LOT more agi to see an increase in avoidance.  Melee mitigation in theory is useful, but if you designed your entire outfit to increase this stat, you would die in 2 or 3 hits, same if you completely ignored it.  Obviously the only real way to survive a mob is to just not get hit.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In summation: +power, +hp, +resists = the way to go.  </DIV> <DIV>Intelligence is the only stat worth a nickel, and as we know, nickels aren't worth much.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Splatterpunk28 on <span class=date_text>09-05-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:16 AM</span>

<DIV>Yeah so fabled stuff is still good because invariably it has nice + power and +Hp as well as high resists wich are very important partic when raiding.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pitty that stats will be almost meaningless, however fabled stuff will still be in demand.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
