<P>It really is a matter of opinion at this point of whether we were nerfed or not.  What isn't opinion, is that we will be playing our characters quite a bit differently.</P> <P>Pros:  Potentially higher theoretical AE dps (with longer casts times, this actually may lower our actual AE dps), A larger amount of spells at our disposal</P> <P>Cons:  Spells consume more power, power buffs and health to power nerfed, solo'ing ability nerfed, longer cast times on our highest damaging spells, single target dps nerfed (how much we can't tell yet as we don't know training spells), total amount of noxious debuffing has been reduced, our ability to immobilize targets with roots and stuns has nearly been completely removed.</P> <P>I'd say the cons vastly outweigh the pros.  But that is just my opinion.  This is all very useful information, but I think what people want is a little more data that addresses how well we perform on raids and in groups, we know solo'ing is much more challenging.</P> <P>A suggestion:  To me the comparison is most important between other classes.  Are we really doing the same dps as wizards on test?  Are we the first to run out of power now on raids/groups?  What about other dps classes -- how are they doing compared to us?  If the gap is much smaller, then I'm not sure we're worth it as all our utility has been removed.  Our usefullness on raids can more easily be judged by if we are invited or not, and that is usually decided on by what we bring to the the table.  We only bring dps now -- do we bring enough to warrent an invite over other classes with higher hps/acs and utilities? </P><p>Message Edited by Splatterpunk28 on <span class=date_text>08-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:50 PM</span>

The roots arn't as nerfed as you think they have a chance to break after each nuke, but normaly they don't. Yes our debuffing has been reduced so spells are hitting for closer to min then max but I assume that will be adressed. And when spells like Aura of Emptiness/Wicked gift work it will increase our solo DPS alot. And Endow energy has been greatly impoved. Our Mana feed ability has gone up, and our Solo DPS is basicaly the same as it was before. <DIV>Thank you for taking the time to make the comparison data and the screenshots.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In reference to the images not loading for some people, being posted on here probably is eating the server bandwith pretty harshly on where they are stored. For my hosting of pictures i just use <a href="http://groups.msn.com/" target=_blank>http://groups.msn.com/</a> Its not amazing, but easy enough to setup and upload them. <div></div>
