<DIV>Didn't see another thread on this so figured I'd post it incase anyone didn't notice (I didn't, until last night) - Sorry if my numbers are a bit off on the spells I don't own -</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Endow Energy Master 1 is down to giving like 138 mana, making it equal to the old Adept 3 (down from 160-something I believe)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Endow Energy Adept 3 is giving 121 mana, down from 138, making it equal to the old Adept 1.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wizzies got their wish, our once crappy feeding abilities are crappier now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Our raid was determining which classes to cut due to the 24 max person allotment and I happened to examine my Adept 3, thinking it may be in my defense to say I can feed almost 140 mana per 17.0 seconds - not anymore!! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Alyssae</DIV> <DIV>Everfrost Server</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Yay! Now I don't have to waste time casting that horrible spell, I can just do more damage! Now wizards are going to complain we out damage them EVEN MORE because we don't spend 4 seconds feeding 2.25 power to target. <div></div>

<DIV>well, wizards was always more vocal community as we warlocks. Therefore i foresee a huge disbalance at time wizards get all their überdps and we'll get only nerfs and for months broken spells</DIV>

<DIV>Anyone have the numbers on ND and BSS before the patch, on power return? I am thinking they got changed but I do not know what they were before the patch. Last night I had an issue of not having power. I rarely have this problem. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Kathuk</DIV>

<P>I didn't notice any difference on these, although any lack of power I had I contributed to the GEB/RoI nerf, so probably wouldn't have noticed anyway.</P> <P> </P>

<div></div>Angel/Crono/Andre Way to be flamebait. I'm a wizzy, and have no such wish for warlock nerfs. How about give SOE the benefit of a doubt, and wait until <b>all combat changes are complete</b> before you complain? I doubt very seriously that any devs are thinking "hmmm these wizzy's sure have a problem with warlocks doing so-and-so, we'd better do what they say about nerfing it". That's rediculous. I don't think the changes will be based on anything a wizzy said. I think SOE is going to completely revamp every class to SOE's own whims! I can't believe I'm even replying to this thread, but there it is. <div></div><p>Message Edited by TooFarGone on <span class=date_text>07-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:50 AM</span>

<DIV>I said that because there are some wizzies that are complaining for nerfs.. nowhere did I say *every* wizzie. Generalizations are never appropriate, so perhaps I should have qualified it with the words "some" or "a few" - but there are numerous threads of wizards posting about how warlocks out-damage them, so that's what I based my statement on. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also mentioned wizards in that post since at first I assumed mana feeds were nerfed due to the BotM/RoI/GEB nerfs - but then found wizard feeds were left untouched.</DIV>

(no flame intended) assuming that item changes would affect player combat spells is a bit...silly. I believe one of the mantra's of the revamp (or was it for the game in general) was "make the game non-item centric, make it player-centric". Anywho, I usually keep out of threads like this, but sometimes I feel the need to speak up for wizards. There are too many wizards bashing warlocks, and too many warlocks bashing wizards. I tend to look down on both types. More positive voices, please. <div></div>

I assumed that they were making mana regen a less available commodity in general.. whether it be through items, and/or through spells.. so yeah.

There are waaay to many threads about the same [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] thing over and over again in the wizzy forums....it gets old. That's why I'm over here bugging youse guys =P</span><div></div>

<div></div>Assumptions are just that. We really have no insight into why things are being done. The only people that know why are the ones that go to the meetings about them. Heh, it was silly for me to say your assumption was silly, because I have no idea what the changes are based on either! Patience guys, patience. <div></div><p>Message Edited by TooFarGone on <span class=date_text>07-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:37 PM</span>

<P>To be honest, the only thing that annoys me about this is that it was not mentioned in the patch notes.</P> <P>Otherwise, I could care less that my direct power transfer sucks (add it to the list of spell lines that don't get a spot on my hotbars). Sorry, but I went to raids when I was little too young to land spells on the mobs so transferring power was the only thing I could do -- at the rate we *could* transfer was barely noticeable (if at all), and hardly worth the potential xp debt and time wasted when you could be leveling up to land spells on the mobs in the future.</P> <DIV>I would gladly trade this for an upgrade to Dark Pillaging. </DIV> <DIV>And, if nothing else, I'm fine with the "nerf" if other mage classes want this type of utility.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All I can say is that if our fellow sorcerors have more utility AND more dps after combat revamp, I will have my voice heard. And it won't be trolling their forums -- it will be in /feedback and in Spell, Ability, & Combat forums, where it belongs.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Splatterpunk28 on <span class=date_text>07-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:48 AM</span>
I find it interesting that they would take a nearly useless spell and make it even more useless. It does not give me confidence in their "master plan", but let's see what happens...

Anyone consider it might be a bug and is not intended? Why not bug report it before complaining on the message boards. <div></div>

I don't think this is going to happen however, and remember after the expansion we'll have all new replacement spells as upgrades (hopefully they upgrade..) Don't forget what 37 + 14 is either.</span><div></div>

The wiz stun feed also got nerfed a bit (with 40), not just yours. So im not sure why you're crying about the evil wizzies. <div></div>

<P>Why is it people always assume complaints about an imbalance is always a cry for nerfs? Personally I haven't seen too many wizard posts calling for nerfs because most of them have been about fixes for wizards.</P> <P>Either way why on earth would we want to nerf Endow Energy? Many wizards complain about being mana batteries so why on earth would we want to nerf everyone else's ability to power feed.</P>
<div></div>The title of this thread is "Stealth Nerf on Endow Energy" not "Wizards v Warlock - flaming to the death"We dont need another <a target="_blank" href="message?board.id=24&message.id=7975">Any Warlocks wishing they went wizard?</a><div></div>
