<DIV>I'm a lv 29 Warlock on Neriak. I currently have DD (adept 3) and don't really plan on getting BSS if there are better options. Could somebody please give some insight, and maybe a list/description of the Lv 30 Training Options? </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

Well, I had DD adept 3 as well, but BSS beats it hands down. It eventually does more damage directly than DD because it greys out later, also it has a dot attached. As if that is not enough, there is a small heal included. I was hesitant when I got 30, but I am very very pleased with the choice. So pleased, in fact, I can't even remember the other choices <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> You will thank yourself later if you get BSS.

There's a pretty detailed discussion of this:  <A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=24&message.id=3420" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=24&message.id=3420</A> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here are the options:</DIV> <DIV>* Nexvok's Surging Toxin - An advanced form of Negative Absolution. As a bonus to Negative Absolution it has a faster casting time and interrupts the target. Its refresh is slower.<BR>* Bellengere's Sapping Salvo - An advanced form of Dark Distortion. As a bonus to Dark Distortion it taps health and power and has a small poison damage over-time effect.<BR>* Darkbriar's Miasmic Curse - An advanced form of Curse of Darkness. As a bonus to Curse of Darkness it also reduces heat and magic mitigation.<BR>* Dooly's Choking Fog - An advanced form of Suffocating Cloud. As a bonus to Suffocating Cloud it adds over-time disease damage during the stifle effect.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm not sure what to say about this.  I took BSS and I'm very, very happy with that choice.  Only other warlock I know that didn't take this option is a fellow warlock in my guild.  His dps is about half of mine (he's 48, I'm 47).  I'm not saying that is the only reason why, but BSS is more powerful than DD Adept III whereas none of the other choices above I'd have on my hotbar in my 40s.</DIV>

<DIV>I have Master I Dark Distortion and am having a problem choosing which training I want.  The damage on Master I is about 1000 at lvl 30.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Windain Shijin</DIV> <DIV>50 Troubador/38 Woodworker</DIV>

<DIV>At lvl 32 BSS <EM><U>total</U></EM> damage surpass Adept 3 DD ... In the end BSS do 850-1100 damage</DIV>

BSS does not. There will be times you will still need DD, and you've got the golden goose on that already. </span><div></div>

If Negative Absolution did a tiny bit more damage it wouldn't ever get replaced; I still use all three if I want a fully AE spell encounter. <div></div>
