Anyone else getting a 90-95% resist on debuffs

<DIV>While hunting in Everfrost I was trying to debuff the mobs we were fighting. About 90-95% of the time I was gett resisted (snow lepards and numbfoots). Last night I try again this time with bear and dear with the same result. My debuffs are adept 1 or app 4. <P>It *seems* to me that I was resisted more frequently last evening in Nektropos versus green mobs. Not 90-95% but I know on one mob I cast ND 3 times and BSS 6 times and all 3 ND and 2 BSS were resisted. Seemed odd (and frustrating)</P> <P> </P>

<P>BSS and ND seem to hit most of the time. Very few resists on the DD's just on the debuffs, Nill and Curse of Darkness.</P> <P>Also I find the debuffs break root. No damage is taken to mob so root shouldn't be broke.</P> <P> </P> <P>Kathuk</P> <P> </P>

<P>The root breaking when any spell was cast was a serious issue in the past. At one time, I could break a root by initiating a heroic op. Things have been much better lately. I have not noticed considerable breakage due to non-damaging castings. Personally, I do not think roots should break based on anything I do, but only based on what the mob does.</P> <P> </P>

<P>I never, ever debuff while solo'ing.  It just isn't worth the time with a precious 36sec on bony grasp.</P> <P>But in regular groups I noticed if I cast Curse before Maelstrom -- both will most likely land.  I used to do it the other way so I'd get more out of the DoT component of Maelstrom, but something seems to have changed as it gets resisted too often if I do it first.</P> <P>If maelstrom is resisted, I'll cast Freezing Whorl instead on orange heroics when in small xp groups.</P> <p>Message Edited by Splatterpunk28 on <span class=date_text>06-30-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:11 AM</span>

<P>I agree Splatter VERY rarely do I debuff when soloing.  But in a grp I wanted to do something while the MT built agro. I was hoping for some bigger numbers but got resisted so many times <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</P> <P>Same thing last night. Out of 20 or so casts I got 2 to land. This isn't right.</P> <P> </P> <P>Kathuk</P>

<DIV>Renshiren, I got exactly the same prob. Also duo'ed in EF with a healer did the same mobs - got a "Resisted" in 3 of 5 hits with my nukes (got Nil Dist. at Master 1) - I'm speechless... I really, really hope this is just a bug and it is fixed soon. I'll not let SOE do with my warlock what they did with our fellows, the wizzies. Hey, SOE I still got my Tank! :p</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would appreatiate something like an official or even semi offical statemant to this fact.
