ok....our lvl 24 spell suffocating breath...now from what i gather it stops a casting mob from being able to cast a nuke. If this is the case then i cant for the life of me seem to have it work....not only solo but in a group ill cast it on a casting mob....say for instance a stellhoof mystic....it lands...i see the tiny bit of damage....but then imediatly it throws a nuke...or a heal..or some other ranged spell....and i say ranged beacuse i tested it on rooted mobs...im i missing the point on this spell??? Also...our 25.5 spell shadow sight....is there any invisible mobs out there...and is sonic sight helpfull....all i can tell it does is make my screen look like a tan colored photo negative......can someone please give me some insight?? Thank you <div></div>

<P>The spells you're mentioned are pretty useless. To be honest I never really used them. Suffo Breath has only a CHANCE to stifle the mobs. Which means in SOE words: forget about it!</P> <P>Shadow Sight: Well as far as I know there are no invisible mobs out there, not even in endgame (well a few are invisible - they are called Bugs - lol; great when your in CT and get hit by a mob you cant see because he is in the wall or below the floor <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )</P> <DIV>The only group stifle which I found useful is the endgame spell Abysmal Fury (at L44), works quiet often and often saved my life.</DIV> <DIV>A good solo stifle isDark Pyre (at L3<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> which also works quiet often, plus it has a decent amount of dmg.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope that helps a bit.</DIV><p>Message Edited by chaos overload on <span class=date_text>06-27-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:31 AM</span>
Personally I've only used the night sight spells in Zek, at night time. It does annoy some people, but others i group with will request it some time. <div></div>

Haha if you've gone in splitpaw you'll see that dark pyre and grievous blast will own you with 100% stifle (from gnolls...not you) <div></div>
I can't say any of the stifle spells Suffocating Breath, Cloud or Dark Pyre have ever stifled me in Splitpaw. I've been stunned by Freeze, Putrid Cloud and Grievous Blast before though. Then again I spend most of my time in there being stifled by priest and chanter mobs so the warlocks don't get much chance <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. <div></div>
