LVL 40 class spell

Warlocks are meant for DPS and the noxious bolt upgrade does over 100 more dmg than the noxious bolt adept 3. The stun only stuns for 1.7 seconds longer, do you actually notice this difference?</DIV>

<P>I took the stun and I love it.  I enjoy soloing fairly often so I find the stun is valuable in saving my butt fairly often.  Plus you can use it to stun quite a few big mobs with it too...if you're in a group this can really save your healer's power.  The extra 1.7 seconds is almost one extra spell cast.  </P> <P>But really, either is a good choice.  If I was purely raiding all the time I would probably go wtih the Viral Blast.</P>

<P>As a stun, 1.7 seconds is a long long time. Long enough to pretty much cast one additional spell, and if you open with BSS, throw FF down then this, it looks like you would get another cast of BSS before this spell wears off. Seems pretty useful to me.</P> <P>100 extra damage is nice also, but it does not seem to me to have the same utility to me.</P> <P>Then again, this is mere speculation for me.</P> <P> </P>

I took the stun and love it. I soloed alot (while leveling to 50) and the extra 1.7 secs made a difference.
