Wow.

37th level is what I like to call one of those class-reaffirming moments.

Having said that, I need some advice on good places to solo and group. I am looking for a good xp/loot mixture. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Anshar

Goto Feerrott, decent drops from chests sell for decent money and quests also give good loot and items. Plus you can possibly get the drop to start a easy quest for a soon-to-be gimped expensive robe.

Edited for spelling

Message Edited by Sac_joker on 06-20-2005 08:21 AM

I zoned into the Feerrott, but was not certain where to go. Is there something in particular I should try look for as far as soloing?

Anshar

In Feerrott, try the Huptics on the beaches either side of the zone in. Good exp and decent challenge splitting up groups etc. For me, the most pleasure I got with my new Nil Distortion spell was to get revenge on the warlock fairy mobs in EL (the ones who used to one-shot me) muhahaha.

The Huuptics on the beach are decent or you can go futher in through the tunnel. Follow the road a bit and on the right side there is a camp check there for quests. Past the camp following the mountain you will see small groups of 2-3 lizardmen. Also you can chain most of the stuff in this area...just be careful of groups a lot of these mobs here are in groups of 2-4 and they may be spread a bit so you can't see the other group members.

Also, keep an eye out for Reza a Ratonga NPC that gives quests for decent coin. Not to mention the quest drops in chest are decent coin and xp as well.

Awesome, thanks for the info.

Any other suggestions for when I get bored with those? (sadly, it happens easily)

Anshar

If you have the splitpaw adventure pack you can do these but they come in groups of 4 - 5. It's a piece of cake at 40 with boney grasp but might be a bit much solo with out BG. Drops are nice I got a +10 int, 58power silk cap and the coin you get from selling the drops is also good.

Do a search for the solo instances you can hunt in, I did a few and got some nice drops and good exp. If I remember right the yard trash as you zone into rivervale wasn't to bad either but it's been awhile since I was there.

Chipper Bogglecog 44 Warlock

When you arrive in Feerott just follow the way into the jungle, stick to the right side. There is a lizzard camp with a lot of soloable mobs around. Good drop rate and good XP. Once you hit lvl 40 you can easy take out the greater groups with 5+ lizzards. Just be carefull with the headhunter in the center of the camp. Its an Epic x2 and he also got some frieds

I got 22-27 gp each evening, just by soloing around the camp. Remember to get your Reza quests, they also provide a decent xp push and some small coin reward and they are repeatable.

Yeah, I have a good time with Splitpaw. Good xp, good coin, and quick. Now they have put a time wait on redoing it, though, it is annoying. Which is why I am seeking other options.

Anshar

If you don't kill the spiders there is no timer. :smileyhappy:

Just kill the gnolls and zone out and back in
