View Full Version : Does Reveal Shadows work?
<DIV>I know alot of people may not consider this an important spell, but thought you might want to know that it doesn't seem to be working at all. This is our lvl 37.6 see invis spell with an added auravision component. But when cast I don't see any auras around mobs. In the description it says it grants "Fish Vision" to group members, so I thought, maybe its the underwater vision, but no changes underwater either. Now the important part, it does not grant see invisible. The other day I was camping the rock in Feerot when I got a tell asking if I have a see invis spell. I currently had reveal shadows up, but went ahead and cast shadowsight (lvl25) and low and behold, there they were standing next to me invis'd. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, I'm guessing that reveal shadows is just not functioning at all.</DIV>
Not true at all! Yesterday I was waiting for a spawn and there were 2 guys in group (not with me) talking. 1 went invisible and I couldnt see, could read what he says but couldnt see him. Than i casted reveal shadows and his shapes apeared - invis like, same as I would be in group with him. So it does work, at least for me. Check it out yourself ... it works for me...i had an assassin buddy that was invis/stealth and i was able to see him just fine <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>plus it grants increased stealth not invis....we use invis scouts use stealth.</DIV><p>Message Edited by maddawg138 on <span class=date_text>06-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:49 AM</span>
ah, ok, so reveal shadows gives see hidden/stealth while shadow sight gives see invis. Never realised there was a difference between stealth and invis for detection purposes. THat would make since in my case though since it was an invis'd wizzie and not a scout that was talking to me. Has anyone had any luck with the auravison/ Fish vision part?
<DIV>41 warlock here, and yes, fish vision works very well to remove underwater distortion, as long as it's enabled in the first place.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Piro</DIV>
What do you mean "enabled in the first place" ??? I hate that cloudy water feels like a baby pool!

<DIV>This spell worked for me to allow me to see Sentry Goorlux when I was camping him. I did click it off once I saw him and he did vanish, I cast it again and he reappeared. I was curious whether it would work or not and it did. This was about a month and a half ago.</DIV>
The comment about being enabled in the first place was targeted towards underwater distortion, not fish vision itself. Underwater distortion is an option under the video settings, like atmospheric bloom effect and heat shimmer. Piro <div></div>
