Soul flay?

Whats up with this spell.  lvl 43 does 200dmg with 50-70 add dmg?!?  Not to mention it is on same reuse cycle as Noxious bolt that does 700 and a lvl 34ish spell?  Disappointing to say the least.  I would say the last 4 lvls of spells have been patheic with the exception of chatoic maelstorm. <div></div>

Most spells for us 40+ need retooling as do many other classes spells and abilities.

<P><FONT color=#999966>I hope you want to use your level 23 Dark Distortion when you're level 48, cuz that's what I'm doing LOL.  When SOE increased our DPS they only increased the damage on the spell up to level 40.  They are still working on increasing the damage for the level 40+ spells... but I'm not confident that they will get them fixed before the combat upgrade or crisis or whatever.</FONT></P>

<P>The fact that all the 40+ spells are as broken as they are is a joke.  Yeah there's lots of stuff that needs fixing in this game, but having a spell upgrade that does nowhere near the damage of the spell its supposed to be upgrading is <FONT color=#ff3300>ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS</FONT>.    (i.e. noxious bolt and soul flay)      <BR><BR>It doesn't take a programming genius to notice that the upgrade is doing less damage.  It also probably wouldnt take too much effort to upgrade the spell so it does even just slightly more damage than the one its replacing.  The argument "well we have to make sure its balanced so we need more time for testing" is again <FONT color=#ff3300>REDICULOUS</FONT>.  Sure you can tweak its damage levels over the next few months BUT its been like 6 months since this game's been out and it is way too bloody obvious that in its current form it makes no sense.  Soul Flay, Dark Pyre, Vulian Interference, ....  all broken and mainly because they ignore the problem.  </P> <P>This crap is sloppy and is probably turning people away...I know its made me think about it.  This garbage needs to be fixed...less expansion packs and more fixing the problems you have.</P> <p>Message Edited by SilentSam on <span class=date_text>05-29-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:07 PM</span>
