Got 2 rubies....what to use them on?

<DIV>I have 2 rubies that I am going to use to make Adept 3 spells.  I know one will be Devastation.  I can't decide what to use the other one on.  Anyone have any good ideas?  I was thinking either Grisly Contract, Nil Absolution, Chaotic Maelstrom or Dark Pyre.  I'm probably leaning more towards Dark Pyre but I don't know the numbers for the Adept 3 version.  Anyone know?<BR><BR></DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Can help narrow your search some what.  Dark Pyre is a Tier - 4 spells so you would need a opal or ruthium cluster for that.  As for the 2nd rough ruby, depends on your play style.</P> <P>Chaotic Maelstorm receives much praise about its DoT and DPS from the solo / small group</P> <P>Grisly Contract is a noted must have for people who raid quite often.</P> <P> </P>

I got 2 rubies and 2 opals, I was thinking to upgrade: - Nil Distortion - Devastation So, I have 2 left and i had a dot spell in mind. But I don't know Aura of Emptiness yet and it's suppose to do dot as well. Is it a real dot spell? Then, is it worth upgrading Chaotic Maelstrom or shall I wait a bit and go for Auro of Emptiness? <div></div>

But Dark Nebula has a very nifty little stiffle/stun to it. So if in a raid where there are multiple casters in a group it can come in handy. I have Dark Nebula adept 3 but don't really use it because in most instances its more efficient to just kill everything.</P> <P>If I remember correctly my first Adept 3's were Devastation and Wicked Gift. Wicked Gift is probably my favorite buff spell.</P>
